This was the reason why we stopped sharing books in our channel @BooksBag & @BooksThief long back! It was a tough decision that we had to take in order to safeguard not just ourselves as channel owner but also you.

❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️ Sharing or storing copyrighted content without the legit method will put you at risk as it's illegal. I request to all fellow channel owners too that you stop sharing copyrighted content as a responsible app user if you don't want to see telegram getting banned in your home country. In this news snap case shared above, the channel owner belonging to Mumbai is now facing criminal action against him as he was arrested from his home following a raid where his laptop and mobile phones have been confiscated.

Currently telegram is under government scrutiny in India for the alleged illegal activities being allowed by telegram on its platform. And, this possibly can lead to telegram ban in India.

Since yesterday it's been reported that @telegram has been taking down usernames of channels/groups/bots even though there was no reports/copyright strikes or any unethical activity.

I too lost a few usernames including @tgWeb. I request you all to retweet my tweet so that it comes to the notice of telegram / durov and my channel's username is returned.
