A second season of the Kakegurui (Kakegurui: Compulsive Gambler) anime series was announced at the "Hyakkaou Private Academy Cultural Festival" special event on Saturday, which was hosted by the video content planning and production company Avex Pictures. More details will be revealed at a later date.
Drawn by Homura Kawamoto and Tooru Naomura, Kakegurui began its serialization in Gangan Joker in March 2014. The magazine has also been serializing the series' prequel manga by Katsura Saiki's as well as Taku Kawamura's 4-koma spin-off since September 2015 and December 2016, respectively. A third spin-off manga drawn by Yuuichi Hiiragi, which focuses on the character Midari Ikishima and her past, has been serialized in Manga UP magazine since February 2017. The ninth volume of Kakegurui, the sixth volume of Saiki's prequel manga, the third volume of Kawamura's 4-koma spin-off, and the second volume of Hiiragi's Kakegurui Midari spin-off manga are all scheduled for a January 27 release.
The manga inspired a 12-episode TV anime by studio MAPPA in Summer 2017, which concluded with an anime-original story. A live-action TV series adaptation is set to premiere on MBS' "Doramaism" (Dramaism) programming block on January 14.
Netflix streamed the anime series in Japan and plans to stream it outside of Japan this year. Yen Press licensed the manga for North American release and published the third compiled volume in November 2017
A booklet included in the Blu-ray volume of Ougi Dark arc from the second installment of Owarimonogatari anime series, which ships on Wednesday, has revealed that Zoku Owarimonogatari, the sixth and last volume of NisiOisiN's Monogatari Series: Final Season novel series, will receive an anime adaptation in 2018. The official website has revealed a preview and a key visual (pictured).
Zoku Owarimonogatari contains the Koyomi Reverse arc, and was published by Kodansha in September 2014. The arc takes place after the college entrance exams but before the events in Hanamonogatari.
The first anime adaptation of the Monogatari Series: Final Season novel series aired in Fall 2014 with Tsukimonogatari. The second anime adaptation covering the third and fourth volume, Owarimonogatari, followed in Fall 2015. Koyomimonogatari, the second volume of the series, was adapted as a 12-episode net anime and streamed through its titular smartphone application earlier last year. The sequel to Owarimonogatari, which is the series' recent anime adaptation, aired as a two-day special on August 12 and August 13, adapting the Mayoi Hell, Hitagi Rendezvous, and Ougi Dark arcs from the fifth volume.
Tachibanakan Triangle began its serialization via Comic Yuri Hime magazine since November 2014. There are currently 4 compiled volumes released so far, with the 5th volume to be released on December 18. The manga has also been published in English as Love to Lie Angle by Digital Manga Publishing since this February.

Читать полностью…The official Twitter account of Tiger & Bunny has announced that the franchise will be receiving a new anime series. More information will be announced at a later date.
The franchise had previously received a TV series by studio Sunrise that aired for 25 episodes between April and September 2011. In addition, a side story film premiered in September 2012, followed by a sequel titled Tiger & Bunny 2: The Rising in February 2014.
A manga adaptation written and illustrated by Mizuki Sakakibara was serialized in Kadokawa Shoten's Newtype Ace magazine from September 2011 to December 2014. The manga has released nine compiled volumes. Additionally, a one-shot, three-volume comic anthology, and a seven-volume alternative comic by Erika Yoshida and Hiroshi Ueda were also published. A video game, stage play and a live-action film were also released.
Viz Media has licensed both the anime and the manga for North American distribution and released the TV series and the side story throughout 2013, with the sequel movie in February 2015. The manga was released in English between April 2013 and November 2016.
Tiger & Bunny had previously topped NHK's Best 100 anime last year, and its main characters Kotetsu T. Kaburagi and Barnaby Brooks Jr. made the top 10 list of the broadcaster's favorite character ranking to commemorate 100 years of Japanese anime history.
Mangaka ONE has announced via his official Twitter account that his supernatural manga Mob Psycho 100 will have its final chapter published on Shogakukan's MangaONE app on December 22.
Mob Psycho 100 was initially published on Ura Sunday in 2012, and was then published on MangaONE in 2014. The series currently has 15 compiled volumes in print, and also won the 62nd Shougakukan Manga Award in the shounen category. The manga received a 12-episode TV anime adaptation by Bones in Summer 2016. A recap episode featuring new scenes and narration by Takahiro Sakurai as Arataka Reigen will be screened on March 18, 2018. In addition, a live-action drama will premiere on Netflix on January 12, 2018.
The anime was simulcast by Crunchyroll and was also streamed by FUNimation Entertainment with dubs in December 2016. FUNimation shipped the complete Blu-ray & DVD combo in standard and limited edition this December.
The Jump Festa Super stage announced on Saturday that Shokugeki no Souma (Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma) will be getting a fourth season. Titled Tootsuki Ressha-hen the new season will be second part of currently airing San no Sara and will premiere in Spring 2018.
The series is based on the manga by Yuuto Tsukuda and Shun Saeki that has been serialized in Weekly Shounen Jump since November 2012. It has previously received two seasons and several OVA episodes. The third season began airing in October, and is scheduled to conclude in December

Synopsis
When Natsuno Hanabi went back to her hometown to study in high school, she thought that she will have a new wonderful life. But Tachibanakan, the dormitory she was going to live in, was not what she expected.
At a press conference held at the Toho headquarter in Tokyo on Wednesday, an anime film by director Mamoru Hosoda (Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki) titled Mirai no Mirai (Mirai from the Future) was announced. The film is scheduled to open in Japanese theaters on July 20, 2018.
Synopsis
The film centers on Kun-chan, a spoiled four-year-old boy in a small house in a corner of a certain city. When his little sister Mirai is born, he feels that his little sister has deprived him of their parents' affection, and is overwhelmed by a series of first experiences. Amidst his new life, he meets an older version of his little sister Mirai, who has come from the future.
Captain Tsubasa is a manga series by Yoichi Takahashi that serialized via Weekly Shounen Jump between March 1981 to April 1988 for a total of 37 compiled volumes. Six sequels have been serialized following the initial series, with Rising Sun currently serializing since December 2013. The manga series has previously received anime adaptations in two different times, one in the 80s and another in 2001. The series follows Tsubasa Oozora, a boy who likes soccer and aims for his soccer dream, from elementary school to adulthood as he is currently on the journey aiming to participate in the Olympics as a representative from Japan in the current manga series.
