إلتقينا السيدة فيكتوريا نولاند نائب وزير الخارجية للشؤون السياسية للولايات المتحدة، بحضور سفيرة الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية في بغداد سعادة السيدة الينا رومانيسكي، وتداولنا في تطورات المشهد السياسي في العراق والمنطقة والعلاقات الثنائية بين العراق والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية بما يخدم مصالح الجميع ويحفظ سيادة العراق.
أشرنا إلى طبيعة الاستقرار المتحقق في البلاد على المستوى السياسي والاجتماعي والأمني، وأكدنا أهمية تعزيزه ليتحول إلى استقرار دائم يستجلب التنمية المستدامة للبلاد.
عن انتخابات مجالس المحافظات باركنا لجميع الفائزين، وبيّنا أهمية هذه الانتخابات لتعزيز اللامركزية ودعم المحافظات بحكومات محلية قادرة على تقديم الخدمات وتلبية التطلعات، ودعونا إلى التكاملية بين الحكومة الاتحادية والحكومات المحلية باعتبار أن الخدمات قاسم مشترك وبرنامج عمل بين الجميع .
في الشأن الفلسطيني أكدنا أن دعم ما يجري من مجازر يمثل استفزازا للمسلمين عموما، ودعونا المجتمع الدولي و الولايات المتحدة إلى تحمل مسؤولياتها تجاه مايجري من إبادة جماعية في غزة، وشددنا على وقف إطلاق النار وإدخال المساعدات وإعادة النازحين ومقومات الحياة الطبيعية.
We met with Victoria Nuland, Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs of the United States, in the presence of Her Excellency Alina L. Romanowski, the U.S. Ambassador to Baghdad. During our discussions, we covered the political developments in Iraq and the broader region and the bilateral ties between Iraq and the United States, focusing on serving the interests of both nations and upholding Iraq's sovereignty.
We pointed out the achieved stability in the country across political, social, and security aspects, stressing the importance of further strengthening it to evolve into sustainable stability that attracts lasting development for the nation.
Concerning the recent provincial councils’ elections, we congratulated all the winners. We emphasized the pivotal role these elections play in advancing decentralization and supporting provinces through competent local governments capable of delivering services and meeting local aspirations. We called for collaboration and synergy between the federal government and local authorities, recognizing that services are a shared concern and a collective agenda.
Concerning Palestine, we reiterated that endorsing the ongoing massacres is a provocation to Muslims at large. We called upon the international community and specifically the United States to shoulder their responsibilities in the face of the ongoing genocide in Gaza. We also emphasized the necessity of a ceasefire, the facilitation of aid entry, the repatriation of refugees, and the restoration of normal living conditions.

نتقدم بالشكر الجزيل والامتنان والعرفان لشعبنا العراقي الأبي على حرصه واندفاعه صوب ترسيخ أسس المسار الديمقراطي عبر المشاركة الفاعلة بالانتخابات لاختيار من يمثله في مراكز القرار، الامتنان والعرفان موصول للمفوضية العليا المستقلة للإنتخابات والتي عملت على إنجاح العملية الانتخابية بجهود حثيثة، كما نتقدم بوافر الشكر لقواتنا الأمنية الباسلة بمختلف صنوفها وتشكيلاتها التي واصلت الليل بالنهار على مدار الأيام المنصرمة وإلى اليوم لتأمين مناخات آمنة للناخبين، الشكر موصول لكل المؤسسات والهيئات التي راقبت هذه الممارسة الديمقراطية، كما نتقدم بوافر الشكر للمؤسسات الإعلامية التي نقلت هذا الحدث الوطني الهام عبر تغطيات مباشرة وتحليلية إلى الرأي العام العالمي، كما نأمل أن تثمر كل هذه الجهود عن تشكيل حكومات محلية فاعلة تحقق ما يصبو إليه الشعب من خدمات ورفاهية.
We deeply thank and appreciate our resilient Iraqi people for their dedication and enthusiasm in solidifying the foundations of the democratic process through active participation in elections to select their representatives in decision-making positions. Our gratitude extends to the Independent High Electoral Commission, which worked diligently to ensure the success of the electoral process. A heartfelt thank you is also extended to our courageous security forces, in all their diverse forms, who tirelessly worked day and night to secure safe environments for voters.
We also express our sincere thanks to all the institutions and bodies that monitored this democratic practice. Special appreciation goes to the media organizations that provided live and analytical coverage of this significant national event to the global public. We hope that these collective efforts will lead to the formation of effective local governments that can fulfill the people's aspirations for improved services and well-being.

من بواعث فخرنا بلغتنا العربية الجميلة ما اختصها الله تعالى بأن تكون لغة لخاتمة رسالاته السماوية، وفي اليوم العالمي للغة الضاد نعرب عن اعتزازنا بها هوية ومجدا، وعنوان عزة، ولغة أجيال، ومرتبة عليا بين اللغات، فحري بنا أن نفتخر بها، ونعمل على الحفاظ عليها.

خالص التهاني والتبريك للفائزين في انتخابات مجالس المحافظات من مرشحين وقوى وكتل بعد أن نال كل منهم ثقة جماهيره التي فوضته نيابة عنها في مركز القرار التشريعي لمحافظاتنا العزيزة وهو تكليف يتطلب بذل قصارى الجهود في أروقة المجالس المحلية لتلبية احتياجات المواطنين وتحقيق تطلعاتهم، كما ونطالب بتحويل مجالس المحافظات إلى ورش عمل ميدانية لمراقبة الأداء ومتابعة المشاريع الخدمية والعمل على خدمة الوطن والشعب وترك الخلافات البينية والمصالح الفئوية الضيقة والانصهار في بوتقة القضية الأهم المتمثلة بخدمة العراق الحبيب وشعبه.
Many congratulations to the candidates and powers for winning the provincial council elections after seizing the win and gaining their people’s voices that installed them in decision making positions to represent them at the legislative centers of our beloved provinces. This is a responsibility that demands maximum efforts within the provincial councils’ walls to meet the people’s needs and live up to their aspirations. We urge transforming provincial councils into field monitoring and follow up centers for service projects as well as working to serve the people and the homeland, abandon inter-differences and narrow personal gains, and to merge with the most important cause for the people and that is to serve our beloved Iraq and its people.

قدمنا ووفد ائتلاف إدارة الدولة التعازي لصاحب السمو الشيخ مشعل الأحمد الجابر الصباح أمير دولة الكويت ولحكومة وشعب الكويت الشقيقة بوفاة أمير البلاد الراحل صاحب السمو الشيخ نواف الأحمد الجابر الصباح (رحمه الله )  وأعربنا عن عميق مواساتنا بهذا المصاب الجلل، حيث كان الفقيد عنوانا للسلام والمواقف الإنسانية التي تصب في مصلحة الأمتين العربية والإسلامية.
كما بحثنا العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين وأهمية تعزيزها وتطويرها بما يخدم مصالح الشعبين الشقيقين، وجددنا التأكيد على ضرورة وقف فوري لإطلاق النار في غزة وإغاثة أبناء شعبنا الفلسطيني في غزة، كما حمّلنا المجتمع الدولي مسؤولية إنهاء هذه المعاناة وإعمار المدينة وإعادة النازحين.
We, along with a delegation from the State Running Coalition, extend our condolences to His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of the State of Kuwait, the government and people of brotherly Kuwait, on the passing of the late Amir of the country, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah (May Allah have mercy on him). We express our deep sympathy for this great loss, as the departed was a symbol of peace and humanitarian stances that serve the interests of the Arab and Islamic nations.
We also delved into the bilateral relations, and ways to strengthen and develop them between the two countries. We reiterated the urgency of an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and the provision of aid to the Palestinian people. في اليوم العالمي للمهاجرين نعضد جهود المنظمة الأممية وتشكيلاتها في إيجاد صيغ تحفظ الحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية لطالبي النجاة والهاربين من الإرهاب والبطش والذين يواجهون تمييزا شديدا يتعلق بالعنصرية والاضطهاد ما يدفعهم إلى البحث عن مكان أكثر أمنا على حياتهم، كما ونعتبر ما يمر به شعبنا الفلسطيني في قطاع غزة المحاصر أحد أهم مصاديق هذا الملف الساخن الذي يستوجب الحلول الإنسانية العاجلة، كما نعبر عن أملنا في إغلاق مخيمات النزوح في العراق بعد طي صفحة داعش الظلامي وإعادة النازحين إلى مدنهم بعد إعمارها.

On International Migrants Day, we express our solidarity with the initiatives undertaken by UN organizations and their entities to devise solutions that safeguard the economic, social, and cultural rights of those seeking refuge from terrorism and oppression, who often endure profound discrimination, including racial biases, prompting them to seek safer environments for their lives. We also recognize the challenges faced by our Palestinian brethren in the besieged Gaza Strip as a poignant example of this urgent issue, necessitating immediate humanitarian interventions. Additionally, we hold optimism for the closure of displacement camps in Iraq post the eradication of the dark shadow of ISIS, facilitating the return of displaced populations to their cities after rebuilding them.

🔹انتخابات مجالس المحافظات ملحمة بنفسجية جديدة يخوضها أبناء شعبنا اليوم بعد العديد من العمليات الانتخابية السابقة.
🔹الانتخابات تمثل جوهر العملية الديمقراطية، وأوضح مصاديقها، وهي حق من حقوق المواطنين، وان الشعوب المتحضرة، والأمم الواعية تعمل على استيفاء هذا الحق، لذلك أدعو أبناء شعبنا إلى استيفاء هذا الحق والمشاركة الواسعة في الانتخابات.
🔹كلمة لقواتنا المسلحة التي تقوم بدور كبير في توفير الأمن للعملية الانتخابية بشكل عام، وشكرنا العالي لوعيهم الكبير ومشاركتهم الواسعة في التصويت الخاص.
🔹نتمنى أن نشهد اليوم في نهاية العملية الانتخابية نسبة مشاركة كبيرة ونوعية لأبناء شعبنا.
🔹رسالة شكر وتقدير وتثمين نوجهها للمفوضية العليا المستقلة للإنتخابات التي تقوم بدور كبير في إنجاح هذه العملية، ونتمنى أن تكون عملية شفافة وانتخابات نزيهة تحظى بثقة الشعب العراقي، وتمهد لتشكيل مجالس محافظات بعد مدة طويلة من الإنقطاع .

🔹 The current Provincial Council elections are a fresh purple saga undertaken by our citizens today, following several preceding electoral events.
🔹 Elections symbolize the core of the democratic process, most defining testaments, and standing as an inherent right among citizens' entitlements. Enlightened societies and conscientious nations actively strive to realize this right. Consequently, I urge our people to exercise this right and broadly engage in the electoral process.
🔹 A statement for our armed forces, which is pivotal in ensuring overall security during the electoral process. We deeply appreciate their significant awareness and broad participation in the specialized voting.
🔹 We anticipate witnessing a substantial and qualitative turnout from our people after today's electoral process.
🔹 Expressing gratitude, appreciation, and acknowledgment to the Independent High Electoral Commission, playing a vital role in ensuring the success of this process. We aspire for a transparent process and fair elections that instill trust among the Iraqi people, setting the stage for the reformation of provincial councils after a prolonged hiatus.
🔹 Presently, provincial councils wield a profoundly significant role in the service landscape for our citizens, provinces, and cities. Service provision takes precedence, and provincial councils serve as the primary conduit for delivering these services and fostering economic development in the country. Thus, I hope for a broad presence, significant participation, and a discerning selection of qualified individuals ready to shoulder the responsibility of fulfilling their duties and serving our people.

إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون

ساحة الأدب العربي تفتقد أحد فرسانها الذين ترجلوا عن صهوة المجد بعد عمر طويل قضاه في دواوينها العامرة وأروقتها الفاخرة، فلقد تلقينا بأسف وألم بالغين نبأ رحيل الشاعر الكويتي الكبير عبد العزيز البابطين (رحمه الله) ، والفقيد كان راعيا ومهتما بنحو كبير بالأدب العربي ووحدة الصف العربي والإسلامي مخلدا سيرة عطرة وإرثا كبيرا، وبهذا المصاب الجلل وفيما نشارك شعب الكويت الشقيق لاسيما أسرة الراحل ومحبيه العزاء والمواساة، نبتهل إلى العلي القدير أن يسكنه فسيح جنانه إنه سميع مجيب.

اللهم ارزُقنِي الرَّغبَةَ فِي العَمَلِ لَكَ لِآخِرَتِي حَتَّى أَعرِفَ صِدقَ ذَلِكَ مِن قَلبِي، وحَتَّى يَكُونَ الغَالِبُ عَلَيَّ الزُّهدَ فِي دُنيَايَ، وحَتَّى أَعمَلَ الحَسَنَاتِ شَوقاً، وآمَنَ مِنَ السَّيِّئَاتِ فَرَقاً وخَوفاً، وهَب لِي نُوراً أَمشِي بِهِ فِي النَّاسِ، وأَهتَدِي بِهِ فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ، وأَستَضِيءُ بِهِ مِنَ الشَّكِّ والشُّبُهَاتِ يا واسع المغفرة والرحمة.

جمعة مباركة بطاعة الله و نصرة دينه و خدمة عباده و الصبر على بلائه.
