When I was a young man, I wanted to change the world.
I found it was difficult to change the world, so I tried to change my nation.
When I found I couldn't change the nation, I began to focus on my town. I couldn't change the town and as an older man, I tried to change my family.
Now, as an old man, I realize the only thing I can change is myself, and suddenly I realize that if long ago I had changed myself, I could have made an impact on my family. My family and I could have made an impact on our town. Their impact could have changed the nation and I could indeed have changed the world.

It was a glorious, sunny day. The purple clouds of the morning had given way to golden sunshine that kissed the world with its warmth. Birds were singing in the trees even though Spring was still a few weeks away. The breeze was fresh and clean and just being outside filled me with joy. It was one of those special reward days we get from time to time when both the weather and the world seemed right. I took some extra time walking my dog and talking to God. I thanked Him for the day. I thanked Him for my life. I offered Him the rest of my time here to share His love, shine His light, and spread His truth.
As I walked along too I kept my eyes open for the first Daffodil, Tulip, or Dandelion to pop its head through the soil. I knew it was only a matter of time before the lengthening days and warming sunshine awakened them all. It would be such a delight seeing them stretch toward the sun and share their beauty with the world once again.
After a while I kicked off my shoes and walked barefoot on the cool grass. I looked once again at the sun shining down on us all. At that moment, however, I realized something. While I have always been the happiest when the sunny days of life blessed me with their goodness, I have grown the most when it’s cloudy. Maybe that is why God gives us clouds and rain as well as sunshine in this world. Our joy may be easier when the sunlight of blessings fills our days, but our love grows the most when the clouds block the light.
The next time the clouds of life cover the sunshine above don’t despair. Turn to the light that always shines: the light of God’s love within us. Let your own love and faith grow stronger. Use what you learn to be better and to help others as well. Life is full of both sunshine and clouds but the light within us can never be covered unless we let it.

1. One day, all the villagers decided to pray for rain. On the day of prayer all the people gathered, but only one boy came with an umbrella.
That's FAITH.
2. When you throw babies in the air, they laugh because they know you will catch them.
That's TRUST.
3. Every night we go to bed without any assurance of being alive the next morning, But still we set the alarms to wake up.
That's HOPE.
4. We plan big things for tomorrow in spite of zero knowledge of the future.
That's CONFIDENCE.
5. We see the world suffering, but still we get married and have children.
That's LOVE.
6. On an old man's shirt was written a sentence. "I am not 80 years old, I am sweet 16 with 64 years of experience."
That's ATTITUDE.
Have a happy day and live your life like the six stories.
When I was a child I thought nap time was punishment. Now it's like a mini vacation.

Is there any categorisation or fragmentation of "Good and Bad "people on this earth? What we see the 'good and bad' in the people around us,indeed is the reflection of our perspective and perception about them.
Right from our birth we have been nourished and fed by the so many 'likes and dislikes' which makes our opinions of good or bad about others.
"What lies in you, the search goes for the same in others" the human tendency of looking for the same aspects what we possess make the difference of good or bad tints of people.
When you analyses deeply, once what appears as 'good' in the course of time when it is available in excessive quantity it becomes 'bad' or hazardous. So good and bad traits of something are interrelated and they exchange according to the time and place.
If we emanate good qualities or give good things to others, we receive more or less the same but may not be exactly in the same form, it can be in another kind. The fact is that, the reciprocation for our words and deeds is inevitable.
There is a Sufi story goes like this, Once a city had protected walls and a big gate. At the entrance of the gate some people were sitting one day and a stranger riding the horse came near the group and asked, "What kind of people are living in this city" in reply an old wise man said " Why do you ask such question". The horse rider answered that " I have come from a city where people are indecent, having ill courtesy without helping nature, so I was perturbed and left that. I want to become resident of this city and live a new life here, how are the people". The old man concluded "Brother you better move on, the people here are more vile and wicked. They are indecent than what you saw in your city. Please find another". The horse rider left
The next day, a person on bullock cart came to the same gate and asked " How the people are here" again the old wise man retorted "How are the people in the city from where you came" the person said " my people are very generous, loving and courteous people. I wanted to live there till my death.Unfortunately my financial strength deteriorated, there was no demand for my goods and skills, I came here to make a living and after regaining my economies, I would go to my town and die". The old man smiled and said "You are most welcome to this city, the people here are more generous and loving than your city people, you can stay here as long as you wanted to be"
The onlookers were taken by surprise with the contradictory answers for the same question and were eager to know the reason from the old man. The wise man replied,
"People are just the way you are."
If you want to find loving people, you have to love others.
If you want to see kindness in others, you have to be very kind with the people.
If you want live with the Happy people, you spread and share the happiness.
Finally how you are for others, the others are also for you in the similar way.

A man came home from work late again, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year-old son waiting for him at the door
“Daddy, may I ask you a question?”
“Yeah, sure, what is it?” replied the man.
“Daddy, how much money do you make an hour."
“That’s none of your business! What makes you ask such a thing?” the man said angrily.
“I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?” pleaded the little boy.
“If you must know, I make $20.00 an hour.”
“Oh,” the little boy replied, head bowed. Looking up, he said, “Daddy, may I borrow $10.00 please?”
The father was furious. “If the only reason you wanted to know how much money I make is just so you can borrow some to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. I work long, hard hours everyday and don’t have time for such childish games.”
The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door. The man sat down and started to get even madder about the little boy’s questioning. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?
After an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started to think he may have been a little hard on his son. Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $10.00, and he really didn’t ask for money very often. The man went to the door of the little boy’s room and opened the door.
“Are you asleep son?” he asked.
“No daddy, I’m awake,” replied the boy.
“I’ve been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier,” said the man. “It’s been a long day and I took my aggravation out on you. Here’s that $10.00 you asked for.”
The little boy sat straight up, beaming. “Oh, thank you daddy!” he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow, he pulled out some more crumpled up bills.
The man, seeing that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, then looked up at the man.
“Why did you want more money if you already had some?” the father grumbled.
“Because I didn’t have enough, but now I do,” the little boy replied.
“Daddy, I have $20.00 now. Can I buy an hour of your time?”

Stay true to yourself. Don’t worry about what people think of you or about the way they try to make you feel. If people want to see you as a good person, they will. If they want to see you as a bad person, absolutely nothing you do will stop them. Ironically, the more you try to show them your good intentions, the more reason you give them to knock you down if they are commited to misunderstanding you. Keep your head up high and be confident in what you do. Be confident in your intentions and keep your eyes ahead instead of wasting your time on those who want to drag you back. Because you can’t change people’s views, you have to believe that true change for yourself comes from within you, not from anyone else.

My brother had distrusted my driving skill since the day I smashed his car against a wooden pole at the garage of our small compound.’ You are too reckless!’ he said dismissively. I could plead no excuse at the moment, although, any expert could have made the same silly mistake-trust me. At first, I was quite disappointed in my self for having bruised the car, causing a major damage to the new car. I found myself building a story in my head: it’s so unfair, ‘why could it have been me in this mess.’
Then I dug a little deeper to realize why I was feeling so upset. I realize I was making something insignificant into a big deal. I was merely building a story that did not serve me at all. I was too attached to the current situation. I just taught to myself, ‘you know what? It doesn’t matter the story I create, I am still going to pay for this, I may as well accept this and move on!'
Stop looking only at where you are and start looking at what you can be. We are sure to be losers when we quarrel with ourselves; it is civil war.
‘Your future depends on many things, but mostly on you.’
You may succeed if nobody else believes in you, but you will never succeed if you don’t believe in yourself. A focus on the past causes us to miss opportunities in the present and diminishes our perception of God at work in our future. That we are victims of our pasts does not make us prisoners of it.
Don’t spend half your life telling what you are going to do and the other half explaining why you didn’t do it. Forgive yourself of past failures, hurts and feelings. Reach out to the wonderful things that lie ahead of you. A man is not what he’s called; a man is what he responds to. Give up on the stories defining your past so the universe can write a new one for u. Forgiving yourself means more than just learning to live with what has happened. Sometimes, it means you have to rebuild, start from scratch, pull up the old foundations and lay new ones.

Robbery
A man with a gun goes into a bank and demands their money.
Once he is given the money, he turns to a customer and asks, "Did you see me rob this bank?"
The man replied, "Yes sir, I did."
The robber then shot him in the temple, killing him instantly.
He then turned to a couple standing next to him and asked the man, "Did you see me rob this bank?"
The man replied, "No sir, I didn't, but my wife did!"
