1. Arbitrary (Adjective): अतार्किक, मनमाना : based on random choice or personal whim, rather than being planned or based on reason

Synonyms: random, erratic, capricious

Antonyms: rational, reasonable

Example Sentence: Since the group could not come to a decision on lunch, Katherine made an arbitrary choice and ordered pizza.

2. Surreptitious (Adjective): गुप्त : done secretly, without anyone seeing or knowing

Synonyms: secret, covert, clandestine, furtive

Antonyms: overt, public, open

Example Sentence:After hitting the lottery, the private family hoped to keep their surreptitious winnings to themselves.


3. Equanimity (Noun) : धैर्य: calmness and composure, especially in a difficult situation

Synonyms: composure, calmness, serenity, cool, collectedness, tranquility

Antonyms: agitation, anxiety, discomposure

Example Sentence: During the horrible storm, it was hard for us to focus and maintain our equanimity.

4. Strife (Noun): विवाद : angry or bitter disagreement over fundamental issues; conflict

Synonyms: discord, conflict, disagreement, dispute

Antonyms: peace, harmony, agreement, cooperation, concord

Example Sentence: If the two countries do not put their strife to rest, they will cause the deaths of thousands of citizens

5. Exertion (Noun): तनाव : physical or mental effort.

Synonyms: strain, struggle, toil

Antonyms: ease, inaction, inactivitys

Example Sentence: After the surgery, I was told to avoid tasks that required a large amount of physical exertion.

6. Defy (Verb) : अवहेलना करना : openly resist or refuse to obey.

Synonyms: resist, withstand, confront, oppose


Antonyms: obey, follow, comply (with)

Example Sentence: I wouldn’t have dared to defy my teachers.

7. Frenzy (Noun) : a state or period of uncontrolled excitement or wild behaviour

Synonyms: hysteria, madness, mania

Antonyms: calm, peace, composure

Example Sentence: The mental patient was known to go into a frenzy if he didn’t get his snack on time.

8. Let The Cat Out Of The Bag (Idiom): to reveal a secret carelessly or by mistake

Synonyms: reveal, disclose, discover

Antonyms: conceal, cover (up), enshroud, hide

Example Sentence: Never, ever tell Martha anything personal as she always lets the cat out of the bag.

9. Foment (Verb): भड़काना : instigate or stir up (an undesirable or violent sentiment or course of action)

Synonyms: provoke, incite, trigger

Antonyms: calm, cease, depress, constrain

Example Sentence: Despite popular beliefs, the police are here to keep people calm, not to foment violence.


10. Menace (Verb) : खतरा : danger, or someone or something that is likely to cause harm

Synonyms: threat, danger, peril, risk, hazard

Antonyms: guard, protect, save

Example Sentence: Once the baby learned to walk, he became a menace who pulled down every item he could reach.

2. Veracious (Adjective) : सत्यनिष्ठ : honest and not telling or containing any lies

Synonyms: honest, truthful, genuine

Example Sentence: He was a strictly veracious reporter.

3. Receptive (Adjective): ग्रहणशील : willing to consider or accept new suggestions and ideas.

Synonyms: open-minded, broad-minded, impartial

Antonyms: unreceptive, partial

Example Sentence:Children are more receptive to new experiences if their parents prepare them ahead of time.

4. Shirker (Noun) : कामचोर : one who deliberately avoids work or duty

Synonyms: idler, lingerer, sluggard

Antonyms: doer, hustler

Example Sentence: There is no room in our organization for shirkers.

5. Skewed (Verb) : तिरछा करना : suddenly change direction or position; not accurate or exact

Synonyms: tilted, uneven, oblique, lopsided, slanted

6. Fiddling (Adjective) : निरर्थक : not important, or of no real interest

Synonyms: insignificant, trivial, worthless

Example Sentence:You should delegate these fiddling matters to your staff so that you can focus on more important issues.

7. Stench (Noun) : बदबू: a strong and very unpleasant smell.

Synonyms: stink, bad smell, foul smell

Antonyms: fragrance, aroma, sweetness

Example Sentence: Because the water from the lake has a foul stench, you shouldn’t drink it.

8. Haven (Noun) : शरण : a place of safety or refuge

Synonyms: refuge, shelter

Example Sentence:1. The library is a haven of peace and quiet. 2. The hotel is a haven of peace and tranquillity.

9-Pertinent(ADJECTIVE) : संगत: Relevant to something

Synonyms: Connected , Apposite

Antonyms: Improper , Unfitting

Example Sentence: He asked me a lot of very pertinent questions .

10-Threshold(Noun): चौखट: A limit at which an arrangement changes

Synonyms: Commencement , Baseline

Antonyms: Conclusion , Closure

Example Sentence: You know when you cross that threshold, there's no going back.

1. Bigotry (Noun) : कट्टरता: the fact of having and expressing strong, unreasonable beliefs and disliking other people who have different beliefs or a different way of life

Synonyms: intolerance, prejudice, bias, discrimination

Antonyms: humanitarian, liberal, moderate

Example Sentence: Our hearts must not harbor hate, anger, bigotry, violence, or discrimination.

2. Collegium (Noun): a group in which each member has approximately equal power and authority; an organization for people who have similar interests or who do similar work

Example Sentence: In total, there were 27 members of the Collegium in 1990.

3. Portend (Verb) : पूर्वाभास: to be a sign that something bad is likely to happen in the future.

Synonyms: predict, bode, presage, foretell, call, augur

Example Sentence: By hovering nearby, the dark clouds portend a storm in our area.


4. Unabashed (Adjective) : बेपरवाह : not embarrassed, disconcerted, or ashamed (not worried about being criticized)

Synonyms: shameless, proud, brazen, prideful, impudent

Antonyms: abashed, sheepish, embarrassed, ashamed, shamefaced, hangdog

Example Sentence: The woman’s unabashed admirer showed up to her house with a guitar and a song.


5. Perennial (Adjective): चिरस्थायी: lasting a very long time, or happening repeatedly or all the time

Synonyms: enduring, perpetual, ongoing, continuing, lasting

Antonyms: ceasing, changing, concluding, infrequent, occasional

Example Sentence: Every election seems to continue to deal with the same perennial issues that have been the focus of all the previous elections.


6. Prevaricate (Verb): झूठ बोलना: to avoid telling the truth or saying exactly what you think

Synonyms: lie, fib, equivocate, deceive

Antonyms: testify, assert, swear, confirm, verify

Example Sentence: Because my sister Sarah does not take bad news well, I always prevaricate when telling her something she does not want to hear.


7. Lambent (Adjective): उज्जवल: (of light or fire) glowing, gleaming or flickering with a soft radiance

Synonyms: glowing, luminous, shining, dazzling, radiant, shimmering, flickering, gleaming

Antonyms: dim, dusky, blackened, dark, dull

Example Sentence: The lambent flames from our campfire cast a comforting glow.


8. Snazzy (Adjective): अत्यधिक आकर्षक : modern and stylish in a way that attracts attention

Synonyms: stylish, flashy, cool, fashionable, custom, jazzy

Antonyms: simple, modest, plain, unadorned

Example Sentence:Innovation is about more than designing snazzy products. It's also about improving customer experiences and services.

9. Immured (Verb) : क़ैद करना: enclose or confine (someone) against their will


Synonyms: caged, imprisoned, enclosed

Antonyms: free, loose, unbound

Example Sentence: Caught robbing a bank, Jason knew the police would immure him in a jail cell for an extended period of time.

10.Verbatim (Adverb) : प्रतिशब्द : in a way that uses exactly the same words as were originally used


Synonyms: word for word, exactly, identically

Antonyms: inaccurately, inexactly

Example Sentence: Everything said by the victim was written verbatim on the police report

2. Insurgency (Noun) : विद्रोह, उग्रवाद: an active revolt or uprising

3. Fortify (Verb) : मज़बूत : to make something stronger, especially in order to protect it; strengthen (someone) mentally or physically

Example Sentence The stone wall was the first step, but they needed more to properly fortify the city.

4. Faction (Noun) : गुट: a group within a larger group, especially one with slightly different ideas from the main group

Synonyms: wing, coalition, team

Example Sentence The ensuing rift created the faction known as the Paucatuck Easterns.

5. Truce (Noun) : युद्ध-विराम: a short interruption in a war or argument, or an agreement to stop fighting or arguing for a period of time

Synonyms: armistice, cease-fire

Antonyms: war, hostilities, conflict

Example Sentence: Hopefully the truce will last long enough for the leaders to agree to a peace treaty.

6. Paradigm (Noun): मिसाल, प्रतिमान : a model of something, or a very clear and typical example of something

Synonyms: example, archetype, blueprint, prototype

Example Sentence: Sister Mary Catherine is considered a paradigm of virtue by everyone in the church.

7. Rejuvenate (Verb) : कायाकल्प: to make someone look or feel young and energetic again; to make an organization or system more effective by introducing new methods, ideas, or people

Synonyms: revive, recreate, revitalize, renew, replenish

Antonyms: damage, destroy, miss, ruin

Example Sentence: The football players consume sports drinks to rejuvenate themselves during the game.

8. Delinquency (Noun): अपराध: minor crime, especially that committed by young people
