still waiting for topics to come out of beta. 2.0 is not the real version number, it is more like version 0.5 or something. come on. closing a topic for it to be for announcements? bugs on pinning messages in closed topics. no ability to give different admins different powers? no ability to have hidden topics for admins only. no ability to control permissions on each topic. no ability for users to archive topics within a group? whatsapp communities are way ahead. let’s do it. i stopped my premium and i am waiting for anything in topics and when i see it i will pay for another year.

In Europe, libertarians have announced rallies in defense of freedom of speech and against the persecution of Pavel Durov
On September 7 and 8, the protests will take place in Berlin and Stuttgart, The Hague and Prague. The rally in Paris is scheduled for September 15. The date of the event in Warsaw has not yet been announced. Earlier, several libertarians also held pickets in Cologne and Bratislava.
The list of organizers of the protests includes the Libertarian Party of Russia, the French le Parti Libertarien, the libertarian movement Volnitsa and its branch in the Netherlands. The Dutch Pirate Party (PPNL) and the libertarian Libertaire Partij will also take part in the protests.
The organizers write that they want to defend the company's right not to cooperate with the security forces of France and other countries. They propose "to come to Pavel's defense not so much for his sake, but to prevent the world from having an outrageous legal precedent denying the right to privacy of correspondence." Pavel Durov previously commented on his persecution in France for the first time. The Telegram founder emphasized that instead of contacting him directly or suing the service, the French authorities preferred to accuse him of other people's crimes. According to him, the messenger responds to requests from intelligence agencies and cooperates with them when it comes to real crimes.
