ANYmal, a shape-shifting robot developed by ETH Zurich, has demonstrated remarkable agility and grace in its movements. The robot can switch between bipedal and quadrupedal modes and navigate various terrains with ease.
The ETH Zurich ANYmal team has been training the robot in parkour-like movements, enabling it to smoothly climb over obstacles and dynamically jump or climb down. Through a trial-and-error process, ANYmal has learned to assess obstacles and decide on the most effective approach.
The robot combines machine-learning obstacle-handling capabilities with programmatic model-based control, allowing it to read and navigate disaster areas and handle slippery or unstable surfaces. While initially envisioned as an inspection robot for industrial and construction sites, ANYmal's versatility and capabilities make it an intriguing development in the field of robotics.

Google Wallet has received an update that allows users to store movie tickets and boarding passes directly in the app. Confirmation emails for these tickets and passes will be automatically added to Google Wallet, making it more convenient for users.
The integration is currently available for selected global movie chains and airlines, and Google plans to expand it further. The update also includes improvements such as the ability to archive older passes and a fix for a bug related to card view.
Google Wallet in the U.S. will soon have a new beta feature that allows users to view benefits of loyalty cards while shopping through Google Search and Google Shopping. The app will also gain AppLinkData definitions for easier access to linked apps or websites.

iPhone 16 Pro CAD renders reveal changes to button design
The pictures show a similar design to the iPhone 15 Pro, with minor changes to some of the buttons. The Action button has become a little longer, now it looks similar to one of the volume buttons, but differs from it in a slightly wider shape. An all-new Capture button is located on the left side of the device, where the mmWave antenna was located in previous models. Although it is the same length as the side button, it is positioned completely flush with the device.
