The Novoaydar Hospital was reportedly hit by the Armed Forces of Ukraine using a HIMARS.

As far as I understand, the President of Angola proposed convening a summit of the African Union to determine Africa’s place in the emerging world order, primarily in the context of economic development.

We observe similar tendencies in Latin America, where the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States, in view of its resumed work and Brazil’s full-fledged participation, considers developing its own mechanisms of monetary relations (even a common currency). The main goal is to protect themselves from the West-controlled chains and mechanisms that have demonstrated their unreliability.

Strengthening regional identity in the developing regions of the world does not mean that multi-polarity is not happening in a global dimension. BRICS is a manifestation of global multi-polarity. This organisation unites five countries, with more than 12 others showing an interest in joining it.

☝️ The clock of multi-polar history is ticking in the right direction.

As it became known, 🇦🇺 Australia Day Council of South Australia (ADCSA) has banned the 🇷🇺 Russian Cultural Centre and SAMBO group from participating in this year's Australia Day Parade.

This blatant act of discrimination and exclusion runs counter to the values of multiculturalism so proudly professed in Australia. The shameful decision was informed, as the Council explains, by concerns for safety and security at the public event. It ridiculously imitates the recent reasoning by Tennis Australia saying the ban on Russian and Belorussian flags at the Australian Open sites was meant to create proper environment for enjoying tennis.

Predictably enough, the very next day after Russian flags were banned at Australian Open the public could “enjoy” obscene insults shouted at a Russian athlete by a group of hoodlums waving a Ukrainian flag. From Adelaide where xenophobic elements have been allowed to dictate who should and who shouldn’t appear at a public festival, reports are coming about a case of a Ukrainian hooligan assaulting a Russian-Australian mom and kids, which needs to be immediately investigated.

What emboldens these proponents of ethnic hatred is of course the unconditional support lent by Australia to the ultra-nationalist and openly xenophobic Kiev regime.

The Australian authorities should be mindful of their obligations under the UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination.

🇷🇺 Statement of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service:

⚡️ Sergey Naryshkin, Director of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service, said that his agency getting reliable reports that the Ukrainian armed forces have been using nuclear power stations to store arms and ammunition supplied by the West. This includes the most expensive and rare systems the Ukraine Armed Forces are receiving for the HIMARS MRLs and foreign air defence systems, as well as large-calibre artillery shells. Several train cars carrying the deadly cargo from abroad transited through Rafalovka station to the Rovno NPP in the last week of December 2022 alone.

The plan of the Kiev regime is clear. The Ukrainian Armed Forces command hides the ammunition in the rear, using nuclear reactors as their shields, just like when the Banderites shell cities in Donbass and other borderline Russian regions from behind the backs of innocent Ukrainian civilians. The idea is that the Russian Armed Forces would not target NPPs with their strikes, fearing a nuclear disaster. If the warehouses detonate or a nuclear power station is destroyed by yet another Ukrainian air defence missile after it veers off course, they can always blame Moscow for the tragedy. Kiev is confident that this would be the case, considering the tacit approval by the West of the Ukrainian artillery strikes against the Zaporozhye NPP.

❗️ International terrorists often use methods of this kind. However, instead of taking just a few civilians hostage, the Kiev regime uses tens or even hundreds of thousands of civilians in its own and neighbouring countries as hostages. It is our hope that it does not occur to anyone in Kiev to deliberately set off explosions at these warehouses with the expectation that this would enable them to get even more weapons and ammunition from the United States and its allies.

🔹 What is happening in Ukraine now is the result of preparations by the US and its satellites for the start of a global hybrid war against Russia.

❗️The decision to ban 🇷🇺Russian and 🇧🇾Belorussian flags from appearing onsite at the Australian Open is another example of unacceptable politicisation of sports.

On top of already discriminating against Russian tennis players with its ‘neutral flag’ policy Tennis Australia now went further by making sure they can not be visibly supported by their fans.

Quite ironically, Tennis Australia pledges to ‘continue to work... to ensure the best possible environment to enjoy the tennis”.

It is indeed regrettable to see the tournament organisers give in to overt and rather arrogant political manipulation sacrificing the spirit of fair play once inherent to the Australian Open.

⚡️ On January 24-25, the 18th extraordinary session of the World Heritage Committee, which is responsible for the implementation of the 1972 Convention Concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage, took place at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris.

A group of countries of the “collective West,” using direct support from the no longer objective UNESCO Secretariat, have pushed through a politically biased and scientifically unsubstantiated decision to inscribe the Historic Centre of the Port City of Odessa on the World Heritage List “in the face of threats of destruction.” The decision was prepared hastily and in violation of UNESCO’s high standards.

☝️ Thereby, the Western countries have again demonstrated their disregard for the rules of procedure at the World Heritage Committee and readiness to sacrifice the once high prestige of UNESCO and its basic 1972 Convention.

It is notable that two thirds of the Committee member states did not support the questionable move initiated by the Kiev regime’s handlers: the decision was taken by six out of 21 votes.

We do not question the cultural heritage and the glorious past of Odessa in the Russian state, and it is logical that it has been inscribed as a heritage site in the face of destruction. However, it should be clarified that the only threat to that city with a rich history comes from Ukraine’s nationalist regime, which has been systematically destroying monuments to the great founders and defenders of Odessa, namely, Empress Catherine II and her associates: Iosif Deribas, Platon Zubov, Francois-Paul Sainte de Wollant, Prince Alexander Potyomkin and Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who are integral to the centuries-old historical and architectural heritage of the city.

❗️ UNESCO should have separately condemned the deployment and use of military facilities and weapons in the Port City of Odessa. But nobody has uttered as much as a word about that, for some reason.

We share the view that the collective West has actually turned Ukraine into a bridgehead for the continued military-political cultivation of the post-Soviet space and for subversive activities against the Union State. This is creating a direct threat to the vital interests of Russia and Belarus.

I mentioned what was done to suppress information about the flagrant violation of international humanitarian law in the east of Ukraine as a result of the Kiev regime’s activities. The West remained silent on this topic, covering up these misdeeds.

The OSCE principles and its institutions are being discredited by the Special Representative on Freedom of the Media who keeps increasingly silent when it comes to obvious infractions on the part of the Ukrainian regime or its Western sponsors.

Not only did the West ignore these warnings and start to develop (militarily) Ukrainian territory, but it also widely encouraged, in theory and practice, the neo-Nazi manifestations of the Ukrainian regime following the coup, which (judging by it all) could not have taken place without the consent (or even support) of the United States.

All of that unfolded against the background of Zelensky’s ensuing moves who, just like Poroshenko, was elected under the banner of bringing peace to Donbass. Instead of following up on his election promises, he instantly did an about-face and declared in August 2021 that if someone identifies as a Russian in terms of culture, language or traditions, they should clear out for Russia. All of that was unfolding amid total silence on the part of the West, or rather, was encouraged by it.

The Presidents reaffirmed their intention to further develop comprehensive cooperation between Russia and Türkiye. Their priorities include energy cooperation, in part, supplies of Russian natural gas and the creation of a regional gas hub in Türkiye.

The Presidents continued exchanging views on the developments around Ukraine. They reviewed the exchange of POWs, primarily the wounded, at Türkiye’s initiative and with account for the recent meetings of the Russian and Ukrainian human rights commissioners in Ankara.

Vladimir Putin emphasised the Kiev regime’s destructive policy of continuing to intensify the hostilities with the support of its Western sponsors, which are still sending more arms and combat equipment to Ukraine. Kiev’s hypocritical policy is illustrated by its refusal to accept a proposal on a ceasefire during the Orthodox Christmas.

The Presidents discussed the implementation of the Istanbul package agreements of July 22, 2022, on Ukrainian grain exports from Black Sea ports and the unblocking of food and fertiliser shipments from Russia.

In addition, the Presidents discussed ways to normalise relations between Türkiye and Syria, including Ankara’s initiative to launch consultations with the participation of Russian, Türkish and Syrian representatives. They also noted the practical importance of joint efforts by Russia, Türkiye and Iran to promote Syrian settlement in the context of the Astana agreements.

◽️ In Karaichnoye (Kharkov region), the Ukrainian intelligence service is planting mines in a granary. After its explosion, the Russian Federation will be accused of the allegedly 'intentional elimination of grain stocks in Ukraine', 'sparking starvation', and therefore 'disrupting the grain deal'. Western media will present this incident as 'another atrocity committed by Russian forces' that requires a 'harsh response of the international community'.

◽️ A group of up to 30 Ukrainian professionals in explosives and employees of the Security Service of Ukraine arrived to Volchansk (Kharkov region) for preparing the sabotage.

◽️ The granary is owned by V. Uvarov, a non-staff employee of the Security Service of Ukraine. There are also identification data for A. Tkachuk, the chief of the group, and all of its members as well as their current location: in the military commissariat of Volchansk (Dukhovnaya st., 29).

◽️ In the wake of Ukrainian army's failures, and on the eve of the meeting of the NATO defence ministers in Ramstein (Germany) on 20 January, these resounding provocations are used by Kiev authorities to put more pressure on the opinion of Western countries for achieving large-scale supplies of modern armaments and hardware for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
