Indian authorities have said the two Chinese attempted to enter the country illegally, and were taking photos and videos of sensitive locations on the India side.

Madhubani is situated at the entrance to India's weak-point, the Siliguri corridor, the 'Chicken's Neck'. China has been militarizing in the region recently, including deploying to sites in Bangladesh.

🇰🇷⚡- A South Korean P-3CK Orion crashes during a training exercise, killing two of the four-man crew.

Rerum Novarum have geolocated the crash site to: 35.97097, 129.40796, an open-green area in a very built-up residential area of south Pohang city. The video was captured along Naengcheon-ro Highway, facing northwards. The highway is close to Pohang Air Base, indicating the aircraft had likely taken off from the base just before crashing.

A Russian quadcopter drone spots a Ukrainian fiber optic drone operating over Russian-controlled trenches. In an incredible maneuver, the Russian quadcopter, using its blades, cuts the cable of the fiber optic Ukrainian drone. The Ukrainian drone can then be seen shutting down slowly, having been neutralized.

The timing comes immediately after the International Court of Justice rejected Sudan's case of accusing the UAE of facilitating a genocide in the Darfur region. The UAE, which had recently signed a $1.4 trillion economic cooperation agreement with the US, have been blamed for funding the Rapid Support Forces.

The decision marks a sharp turn in US foreign policy, which had historically supported Minni Minnawi and the people of Darfur. Even as recently as January, the US Treasury sanctioned Hemedti, the Commander-In-Chief of the Rapid Support Forces.

There is a planted story in the press this week that Trump cut off Netanyahu due to his intransigence on normalization with Saudi Arabia and his attempts to force Trump's hand on Iran.

I doubt that Trump will abandon Israel completely but there is clearly something to this story, as evidenced by recent developments like the firing of Mike Waltz and truce with the Houthis.

Trump has also restarted negotiations with Iran scheduled for this Sunday and has proposed a deal with Saudi Arabia that will allow them to develop a civilian nuclear program without normalizing relations with Israel.

With Trump praising Erdogan, negotiating with Iran, and a potentially significant deal with Saudi Arabia, it seems that Israel is becoming diplomatically isolated.

🇮🇳🇵🇰 - Situation regarding the alleged clashes in the Sialkot direction:

There were reports regarding Pakistan being 'surrounded' on three sides in a bottle-neck in a potential situation - which look true on a map. However, the situation on the ground is the complete opposite - it is India at risk of being encircled.

Rerum Novarum have geolocated all of India's and Pakistan's observational posts in this area, with Pakistan also having a key helipad base at 32.8384, 74.70361. The point at which this is located is vitally strategic.

India's Pargwal front relies entirely on two key supply routes, the first via Pargwal Bridge, at 32.80412, 74.59053. And the second is a land route through the town of Raj Pora 32.83897, 74.68163 (shaded red region on the map). A river runs in front of a small mountain rage, River Chenab, which prevents easy access into the region. Due to the terrain, the Pargwal Bridge took years to complete construction, evident from recent Sentinel-2 satellite imagery (Google still shows an uncomplete bridge).

Pakistan's operation in the area will be likely be reminiscent of the failed Ukraine's Kursk-Koronevo operation. But unlike Ukraine, Pakistan will need to strike a single bridge, instead of 3, and not worry about possible pontoon crossing replacements. And also unlike Ukraine, the encirclement point for Pakistan lies right on its border (shaded in red) - Pakistan's border is just 700m from Chenab River, if reached and assuming the bridge has been put out of operational use, it will prevent Indian supplies to the Pargwal front.
