A new poll shows that nearly half of Democratic voters participating in the primary elections have pledged to oppose any candidate receiving funding or support from pro-Israel lobby groups, such as AIPAC.

This stance reflects growing grassroots anger within the Democratic base over Israeli policies in Gaza, especially following the devastating war that resulted in tens of thousands of civilian casualties.

Many voters believe that funding from pro-Israel lobby groups negatively influences U.S. positions on justice and human rights, emphasizing that it is time to end unconditional support for Israel and hold it accountable for its crimes in Palestine.

Reports from the Gaza Mental Health Program reveal that many children in Gaza are losing their ability to speak due to psychological trauma from the ongoing war and Israeli bombardment, not physical injuries.

Known as “psychological mutism,” affected children communicate through gestures and repetitive movements instead of words.

Dr. Hiba Haidar, a language disorders specialist, confirmed that UNICEF and WHO data link speech loss and stuttering directly to exposure to bombing and traumatic events.

Even before the genocide, over half of Gaza’s children showed symptoms of post-traumatic stress, and experts warn that the situation may worsen, increasing the psychological burden on the next generation.

NEW | According to the Prisoners’ Media Office:

Palestinian detainee Omar Abdul Jalil al-Abed, 27, from the town of Kober north of Ramallah, has been suffering from severe health complications inside Nafha desert prison after losing more than 20 kilograms due to the Israeli prison administration’s systematic policy of starvation and medical neglect.

His family confirmed they have been unable to visit him for three years due to his mother’s illness and the occupation’s ban on lawyers from meeting him, leaving him in complete isolation without any direct contact with his loved ones.

The office held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for his life, warning of the ongoing starvation, medical negligence, and abuse systematically practiced against prisoners serving life sentences.

NEW | UK Deploys Military Planners to Join U.S.-Led Gaza Stabilization Task Force

The UK Ministry of Defense has confirmed that a small group of British military planning officers, including a two-star deputy commander, has joined a U.S.-led task force aimed at supporting stabilization efforts in Gaza.

The initiative, known as the Civil-Military Coordination Centre (CMCC), forms part of U.S. President Donald Trump’s 20-point ceasefire plan and seeks to maintain security and stability in Gaza following the ceasefire.

While the force’s structure and mandate are still being defined, Washington has pledged up to 200 troops to assist without deploying them directly inside Gaza and is consulting regional partners, including Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, Indonesia, the UAE, and Azerbaijan, for contributions.

A UK defense spokesperson said the move ensures Britain remains “integrated into U.S.-led planning for post-conflict stability in Gaza.”

The report indicated that half of these attacks targeted the olive harvest, affecting 27 villages across various West Bank governorates.

The assaults resulted in 99 injuries among Palestinians, in addition to widespread damage to agricultural lands and harvesting equipment, negatively impacting local olive production.

The data warns of a dangerous escalation in settler violence during this year’s olive harvest compared to previous years, increasing the suffering of farmers and threatening local food security.

The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics announced that 96% of Gaza’s residents are suffering from severe food insecurity due to the ongoing blockade and shortages of essential resources and food supplies.

Experts warned that the continuation of this situation threatens the stability of Palestinian society in Gaza and exacerbates the humanitarian crisis, calling on the international community to take urgent action to provide food aid and secure basic livelihoods for the affected population.
