A ceremony in Turmus’ayya village of the occupied West Bank honored journalist and activist Jasper Nathaniel for documenting the daily attacks on the village under Israeli occupation.
The municipality insisted on the awards, explaining that the worst part of the violence and dispossession has been feeling invisible. “Now, with their story being seen by millions, even raised on the Senate floor, they finally believe the world is listening,” Jasper said.
The recognition brought hope to the community, especially the children, and offered a rare moment of visibility amid years of injustice.
Dr. Khalil Al-Daqran, spokesperson for Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, confirmed that the continued refusal of the occupation to allow medical aid into Gaza has led to the spread of diseases across the sector.
He reported over 70,000 cases of hepatitis, which require urgent treatment outside Gaza. Al-Daqran called for the immediate opening of crossings to curb the spread of epidemic diseases, noting that the occupation allowed only nine trucks of medical aid to enter, an amount insufficient to cover the severe shortage in hospitals.
He added that more than 41% of kidney patients died during the recent attacks, and that the lack of equipment and the destruction of dialysis units by the occupation is further increasing the mortality rate.
About 40 international humanitarian organizations, including Doctors Without Borders, Oxfam, and the Norwegian Refugee Council, accused Israel of obstructing humanitarian aid to Gaza, warning that these restrictions are worsening the humanitarian crisis affecting over two million Palestinians.
The organizations said Israeli authorities had rejected 99 aid requests in recent weeks and imposed bureaucratic delays that prevent timely delivery of food, water, and medicine.
They described Israel’s actions as a violation of international humanitarian law, calling on the international community to ensure immediate and safe access for humanitarian aid.
The statement stressed that Gaza’s situation is critical, with collapsed health services and severe shortages of basic needs, warning that continued restrictions will deepen civilian suffering after months of devastating war.
Breaking | The Government Media Office in Gaza said that Israel has allowed the entry of only 24% of the agreed-upon aid and commercial trucks per day under the ceasefire agreement, continuing to deliberately restrict vital energy supplies needed to operate hospitals, bakeries, and essential services.
It strongly condemned Israel’s obstruction of humanitarian and commercial aid, holding it fully responsible for the worsening humanitarian catastrophe affecting over 2.4 million people in Gaza.
The office called on the U.S. president, mediators, and guarantor states to take immediate action to compel Israel to uphold its commitments, particularly ensuring the unrestricted entry of humanitarian and relief aid to ease the suffering of the Palestinian population.

Hind Rajab Human Rights Foundation filed a criminal complaint in Germany against Shimon Avi Zuckerman, an Israeli-German soldier, accusing him of war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide during Israel’s assault on Gaza. Zuckerman served as a combat engineer in the 8219 Engineer Battalion of 551 Brigade.
The complaint states he participated in demolitions of civilian buildings, including homes, schools, mosques, and a water station in Khaza’a, southern Gaza. Evidence includes Instagram photos and videos showing him destroying buildings and celebrating, which the foundation says proves there was no military necessity.
The foundation urged German authorities to investigate immediately and enforce international law without selectivity, warning that ignoring the case would be legally and morally negligent. This is part of a wider effort to hold Israeli perpetrators accountable in European courts.
