The UK government has granted £1 million to an organization considered close to the Israeli government to deliver programs on combating antisemitism in British universities. The training targets academics and students, aiming to raise awareness of antisemitism and provide tools to counter it.
The decision has sparked widespread controversy and sharp criticism, with many pointing to a clear double standard in the UK government’s approach: while financial support and facilitation are provided to pro-Israel organizations, groups like Palestine Action face arrests, harassment, and restrictions on their peaceful activities.
This disparity highlights biased policies that may limit academic freedom and restrict legitimate discussion on the violations committed by the Israeli occupation.

The same sources added that Israel has also decided to drastically reduce the humanitarian aid entering the Gaza Strip.
