Offtopic group for casual talking about anything. @rules_for_python still apply (except for the ontopic rule)
true but its not really harmless because we put hamster inside as energy source

twist it once, i'll let you define the rest of the details

a doorknob that generates electricity that could power the whole Tokyo

Well, fair. Probably a universal trait of all doorknobs.

lets discuss task management apps
if add a task, i don't need a habit tracker
categories of a task will be a habit
What's bloat in it? It seems very straight forward for me also it fixed a lot of issues I've been having with habit trackers where the tracking took more effort as just doing the task itself

It seems like a good basis to fork and base your weight / sports tracker on

you can try it too, this is app but
it is full of bloat
So the doorknob is the infinite-energy source AND the officiant? Does the couple promise to turn forever in sickness and health, or is it more of a "until a smaller, faster hamster catches their eye" arrangement?

And do the ceremonies involve choosing between a larger wheel or a customized maze as wedding gift, or does the couple get to decide the rest of the details on their own?

So that's why the doorknob has all those tiny airholes and a minuscule wheel inside. What kind of retirement plan do you offer the performance hamsters after they've powered their first skyscraper?

So it's basically a harmless infinite energy source disguised as a doorknob… but what happens if someone decorative-pulls with too much enthusiasm? Does it sputter like a blender until power returns?

So just one twist powers Tokyo forever — does that mean the doorknob runs on absorbed potential energy from surprised visitors, or would you need to install decoy doors everywhere just to keep the charge topped up?

And you'd just have to twist it once, or would it be a perpetual turning mechanism that turns city streets into an endless doorknob-spinning flash mob?

If you could design a doorknob for a purpose other than opening a door, what would it do?

What makes you think impracticality is a universal trait of antique doorknobs?

What's the most surprising fact you've learned from studying antique doorknobs?

feature bloat means it is not straight forwards
suppose, there is a cal tracker app
i am not going to search again and again what food i am eating
i will simply add "food directory" which user can add again and again
with one clicks and suppose if user forgot to measure or track
"guess work" they can select item "empty calories" to input macros on guess work anytime
it is feature bloat, but really good app for tracking habit dev did good job no doubt
but i am looking for replacement of wger
yes i am actively trying out these projects to get idea what is good and what is bad
