Читать полностью…Hi, are there people here who can advise me how to get back into an old Omni wallet?
I have on an old mac os x, version .11, a wallet that I'd like to access (from a computer I havent used in years). When I open the program it verifies the blocks, but then gets stuck on 'done loading'.
What should I do?
The old bitcoin database I have on the computer is @220GB, it doesnt seem to be updating through Omni anymore if I let the program run.
I have a wallet.dat file. Is there anything else I need still? Should I try a fresh omni install on another computer and bring over the dat file? Should I downloading the full btc-core and seeing if the program opens if I put that full up to date database in the file path where the partial one resides?
Any advice appreciated.
i mentioned agoradesk. ? pretty good arbitration (not bs like paxful), they freeze my xmr till you paid. considering its crypto to crypto, proof via blockchain, hard to scam?

Ellipal wallet offered it as a swap but no way to swap it back, it seems odd that you can buy this token but no way to sell it
I have looked everywhere and cant find a trusted source or swap platform that allows swaps out of usdt omni or even supports it as a network

An Omniwallet json backup is a simple text file that should be 1-2kb on average and should look something like this on the inside:
{"addresses":[{"address":"1MyAddressHere","privkey":"5prvkeyfor1MyAddressHere"},{second address},{third address...}]}
so the json wallet backup file is a backup of the webwallet at the time the backup was made. You can use that backup to restore any addresses that were in a previous omniwallet to a new omniwallet account. additional the json file structure is all text so you can open it with a notepad and see the backed up addresses and (where available) there associated private keys.
You can then use the corresponding private key to regain access over any funds on that address
The important thing here is the wallet.dat file from the old install. Download the newest omnicore and use the old wallet.dat
One the latest version is fully synced you can use the client to access any funds.
Alternatively you can use the old client on the old computer to export the private key of your address (using the dumpprivkey command I think.) and the import that into a new Omniwallet.org web wallet for access to any funds on the address

I own a web3 growth agency and personally think Omni Layer is exciting, it just hasn't lived up to its potential
Bitfinex has support and only requires minimal KYC to enable usdt

If you look closer you'll see that even though its the same name (omni) the project on bybit is specifically referring to something called OmniCat
