Omni layer transactions can not use native segwit addresses (bc1...). If you had used wrapped segwit (3...) or legacy addresses (1...) you would have seen something different.

Regarding the types of tokens, there are two main concepts in the Omni protocol:
• Smart Properties: These are tokens that allow you to define custom logic and functionality. Smart Properties can have various features such as transferring ownership, creating divisibility, and setting other customizable parameters.
• Managed Properties: These tokens are more straightforward and are managed by the issuer. They typically don’t have the customizable features of Smart Properties but are simpler to create and handle for specific use cases.

Hello Luis, Tether does not maintain any testnet tokens. So there is nothing to mint directly. But you can always create your own testnet token that is the same type as Tethers to do whatever testing you need

to a degree. Tether will accept direct redemption however only for amounts of 100k or more. Additionally you can not reside in one of their prohibited jurisdictions https://tether.to/en/in-what-countries-and-states-does-tether-have-limited-functionality
