🇨🇳 The former Chinese Minister of Agriculture was sentenced to death for accepting bribes, according to Xinhua.
Tang Renjian was found guilty of accepting bribes totaling more than 268 million yuan (about $38 million) from 2007 to 2024. He took money in exchange for helping organizations and individuals with contract signings, personnel decisions, and business operations.
The court took into account the ex-minister's confession and remorse, sentencing him to death with a two-year reprieve. After this period, the sentence will be commuted to life imprisonment if he does not commit new crimes.

If you only allow the Moldovans in Europe to vote, but not the ones in Russia and Transnistria … EU wins.
