The U.S. Army continues to study and implement best practices from the Ukrainian field through the TiC program, the second iteration of which (TiC 2.0) is focused primarily on armored units.
One of the new participants in the program is the 1st Armored Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division , which is already conducting its fourth rotation in the Combined Resolve 25-02 exercise in Germany.
Among the innovations: the brigade has begun conducting training on the use of FPV strike drones, a second electronic warfare platoon has been formed in the brigade in addition to the regular one . According to the brigade commander, every third squad in an infantry platoon is now an FPV drone squad , and at the infantry battalion level, there are four UAV strike groups subordinate to the battalion commander .
Some of the components for the brigade's reconnaissance quadcopters and FPV drones and other units are 3D printed in the field . As part of the program, the Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA-JMTC) plans to increase production of 3D printed drone components and entire airframes.
The team is also tasked with testing new commercial technologies and providing feedback and requirements for improvement . These include drone interception systems, radios from TrellisWare , and servers that can switch from using low-Earth orbit satellites to geostationary orbit satellites and 5G networks.
Another innovation tried in Germany was the use of "electromagnetic deception" (as they called it) by recording signatures from command posts and then placing them and transmitting them to the enemy in order to hide the actual location of the command post . Previously, systems were tested that could reproduce radio frequency signatures at the company to division level in order to mislead the enemy. In addition, inflatable weapons mock-ups were also used, in particular M777 howitzers.
In winter, the 3rd Brigade of the 10th Division, acting as a simulated enemy in the same exercises, sent a reconnaissance UAV to confirm the physical existence of the command post, and false signatures did not distract enemy fire weapons.

🇬🇷 EARTHQUAKE IN GREECE:
A very strong earthquake, measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale, occurred at 06:19am 56 kilometers north-northeast of Heraklion, Crete, according to data from the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens.
The focal depth is estimated to have been 60.3 kilometres.
The earthquake caused disruption to the residents of Crete, and was particularly felt on the Aegean islands and in areas of mainland Greece.
Small landslides on the provincial road network have been recorded as consequences of the earthquake, as well as small parts falling off a building in Heraklion, Crete.

A ceremony of launching a newly-built 5 000-tonnage destroyer took place at the Chongjin Shipyard on May 21.
Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, watched the ceremony.

He seriously warned that the errors caused by the irresponsibility of the relevant officials of the Munitions Industry Department of the WPK Central Committee, the Mechanical Institute of the State Academy of Sciences, Kim Chaek University of Technology, the Central Ship Design Institute and other relevant units and the Chongjin Shipyard responsible for the accident that lowered the dignity and self-respect of our state in a moment would have to be dealt with at the plenary meeting of the Party Central Committee to be convened next month, and censured them for the fault.
He earnestly said that restoring the destroyer as soon as possible is not merely a practical issue but a political issue directly related to the prestige of the state and the restoration should be completed unconditionally before the June Plenary Meeting of the WPK Central Committee, so as to make the ardent patriotic loyalty and devoted labour of the workers of the Chongjin Shipyard and the Rajin Shipyard prove fruitful as proud feats conducive to bolstering up the defence capabilities.
