A bill has been registered in the Verkhovna Rada, according to which missing soldiers will be recognized as dead ONLY TWO YEARS AFTER THE END OF THE WAR.
This means families will get compensation 2 years after the end of the war, which is not possible for Ukraine to pay.
Also Ukraine will have try to not receive many bodies from Russia, which instantly would classify a missing soldier as a dead soldier and payments would be due.
