🇩🇪 Berlin bans red triangle 🔻
The Berlin House of Representatives voted to ban the inverted red triangle that Al-Qassam Brigades use to mark “Israeli” vehicles and soldiers in their videos documenting the ongoing battles in the Gaza Strip.
The motion is now set to head to the Berlin senate, in anticipation of a nationwide ban of the symbol.
Green and Left parties abstained from voting, while it was backed by The Christian Democratic Union (CDU), the Social Democratic Party (SPD), and Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) factions.
The motion calls on the senate of Berlin to work at a federal level to ban the symbol in the entirety of Germany, with the aim of “preventing the symbol from being visible to the public and to ensure that its use is punishable in the context of the Middle East conflict and Hamas” – according to German news website Welt.
The Berlin Senate was also called to “prohibit the use of this symbol” in any public assembly as it represents a “direct threat to the people.”

🇷🇺🇺🇦 In Russia, the brother of the adviser to the head of the Ukrainian presidents office Mikhail Podolyak, Vladimir Podolyak, died.
This is reported by the English-language Czech public page KIU, which tracks reports of deceased Russian military and security officials using obituaries, memorial plaques and photographs of graves.
According to the public, Podolyak Sr. died on May 19. They published a photo of his grave. It shows a photo of a man in military uniform and with many awards. Including - with a badge for service in the GRU - Russian military intelligence.
The public claims that the 59-year-old intelligence colonel was retired. He also denied information from a number of Ukrainian telegram channels that Podolyak Sr. was killed in the war in Ukraine.
The media have previously written that Mikhail Podolyak’s brother served in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Russian General Staff.
Mikhail Podolyak himself confirmed back in the winter that he had an older brother living in Russia, but stated that they did not communicate. He also denied his service in the KGB and FSB (but did not specify about the GRU).

The war in Ukraine is only bogging America down, says Elbridge Colby, a former national security adviser to the Trump administration.
“Why the US should and likely will reduce its support to Ukraine and Europe, to focus on the increasing threat China poses over Taiwan. Europe, can pick up the slack on its own continent.“

There is a foreign unit operating in Ukraine that shot Russians who surrendered.
The New York Times writes about this with reference to a German military medic who took part in the battles, but after the murders decided to make these facts public.
We are talking about the reconnaissance company Chosen Company (“Chosen Company”), which fights as part of the 59th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The squad is led by retired American military officer Ryan O'Leary. The company numbers about 60 people.
According to medic Caspar Grosse (pictured), who also provided the video, the New York Times describes two cases of killings of Russian military personnel.
It is reported that on August 23, 2023, the company received orders to dislodge the Russians from the trenches south of the village of Pervomaiskoe near Avdeevka. The “chosen ones” carried out a successful assault on one of the Russian trenches. Some of the Russians died, some fled, and two of them took refuge in a shell crater.
One of them, judging by the video, tried to surrender by raising his hands and attracting the attention of the Ukrainian Armed Forces drone. The second was wounded and did not try to surrender. According to medic Grosse, Ukrainian drone operators reported that a Russian soldier was trying to surrender. But then a Greek soldier with the call sign “Zeus” brought a drone there and dropped a grenade on the Russians.
The newspaper notes that by that time the battle was over. The Ukrainian military later released a video of the incident, where “the editing creates the impression that the killing took place in the heat of battle, rather than when the battle was almost over.”
On the same day, another Russian was killed who tried to surrender. Towards evening, when the foreigners had consolidated their position, a seriously wounded Russian soldier, who was considered dead, began to crawl along the trench, calling for help. An American with the call sign “Cossack”, who knew a little Russian, tried to talk to him. The Russian switched to English and started saying “help” and “I give up.”
“Cossack” called the doctors, but then “Zeus arrived and shot the Russian soldier in the chest.” “Kazak then shot the Russian soldier in the head with a Kalashnikov in what Grosse said was a mercy killing,” the NYT writes.
A German military doctor says he decided to go to the media after “the unjustified killings continued.”
The publication also has correspondence from soldiers of a foreign company who discuss these murders. No charges were brought against them in Ukraine or the United States. Squad leader Ryan O'Leary claims the Russians were shot because they "posed a danger."
The newspaper quoted former company veteran Benjamin Reed of Massachusetts as saying he had “heard a lot of talk” about the execution of Russian prisoners of war during various operations.
According to Reed, a Chosen recruiter told him that "it was okay to kill prisoners of war if they did not surrender to the strictest standards of the Geneva Convention."

🇰🇬‼️🚨 Coup prevented in Kyrgyzstan.
The criminal group planned to stage a coup in Kyrgyzstan on Independence Day on August 31.
The attackers wanted to organize sports games near Bishkek in order to gather more people from all regions of the country, the State Committee for National Security reported.

🇺🇦🇷🇺🇩🇪‼️🚨 Ukrainians planned to blow up the Nord Stream long before the annexation of Crimea to Russia - Die Welt, citing sources
If the version is confirmed that Ukraine has long been planning a terrorist attack on the gas pipeline and the state was involved in this, “this could seriously affect the Germans’ readiness to support Ukraine.”
The energy project has been publicly rejected by Ukraine on several occasions. Former Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, for example, criticized him.
“This project is anti-Ukrainian and anti-European,” he warned in September 2015.

🇺🇸🚨‼️ Team Biden gave allowed questions before the interview to the host.
The hosts of the WURD radio station in Philadelphia received in advance from the Biden team a list of questions that could be asked at the interview on Wednesday, one of the participants in the meeting, Andrea Lawful-Sanders, admitted.
"I was sent questions for approval... I received several questions - eight, and the four I selected were approved by me," she said on CNN. Asked to confirm whether the list of questions had come from White House officials, Lawful-Sanders responded in the affirmative.
Despite a prepared list of questions, Biden's interview on WURD radio last Wednesday was not without its excesses. The US President, recalling his political achievements, gave reason to think that he considers himself a black woman.

🇺🇸🇺🇦🇷🇺🇩🇪🚨‼️ KILLING OF RUSSIAN POWS:
In Ukraine, Killings of Surrendering Russians Divide an American-Led Unit
A German medic said he was so troubled that he confronted his commander. Others boasted about killings in a group chat.
Hours after a battle in eastern Ukraine in August, a wounded and unarmed Russian soldier crawled through a nearly destroyed trench, seeking help from his captors, a unit of international volunteers led by an American.
Caspar Grosse, a German medic in that unit, said he saw the soldier plead for medical attention in a mix of broken English and Russian. It was dusk. A team member looked for bandages.
That is when, Mr. Grosse said, a fellow soldier hobbled over and fired his weapon into the Russian soldier’s torso. He slumped, still breathing. Another soldier fired — “just shot him in the head,” Mr. Grosse recalled in an interview.
🇾🇪 Houthis’ surface water drones.
Recent announcement claimed warheads to be between 1000 - 1500 kg.
Some drones require a pilot bringing it into the area of action, then jump off. That’s due to missing reliable autonomous navigation, just FPV navigation would show water 360.
