Good question. From experience, the scammer usually obtains the seed phrase by sharing a fake site that will harvest the seed phrase. So a social hack rather than a 'hack' as we might traditionally think of it.

With respect to your staking Eddie from ValidBlocks, who is a staking provider may be able to help with it.
He will require proof of ownership and access to the wallet. The scammers will take your staking as soon as it hits your wallet balance, so this is by far your best option
I have tagged him in the admin channel, but he hasn't responded yet.
Send him a DM as soon as possible and provide everything he needs
