Torrential rain causes widespread damage in Gaza
Forcibly displaced Palestinians have been facing extreme rain and wind that has been compounded by freezing temperatures.
A baby is among the nine who have died so far, with many more injured. The Zionist regime has repeatedly blocked shelter supplies, with many calling this an act of "slow genocide".
360 killed, 922 injured, and 617 bodies recovered from under rubble — of course, mostly children, women, and the elderly. On top of that, UNICEF reports two children killed every day during the ceasefire.

War crimes evidence hidden by SAS chiefs?
The Independent Inquiry relating to Afghanistan has heard that top members of the SAS tried to cover up evidence linked to extrajudicial killings.
It has been alleged that 80 civilians, including children and babies, were summarily executed or injured by soldiers belonging to three different SAS units.

Academic boycott of Israel increases after Gaza genocide
There has been a doubling in the boycott of Israeli academics and institutions, even after the so-called ceasefire took effect.
This year has also seen scientific research grants from the Horizon Europe fund reduced. Horizon Europe is the Zionist state's main source of funding in this area.
RSF condemned as 15,000 bodies retrieved in Sudan
The Forensic Medicine Authority has recovered and respectfully buried 15,000 bodies since April of 2024. The agency aims to relocate all bodies buried outside cemeteries by the middle of 2026.
Many had been hurriedly buried by those acting under duress, or dumped by RSF fighters into mass graves.
Austria bans hijab for schoolgirls under 14
Parliamentarians voted on Thursday to pass a law banning headscarves for schoolgirls under the age of 14, despite condemnation that this will only deepen anti-Muslim sentiment.
The law may yet be struck down by the country's Constitutional Court, but many have said the damage is already done, as the 750,000-strong Muslim population have been made to feel unwelcome in Austria.
