➡️President Trump added that Putin reaffirmed previous promises he and senior Russian decision-makers had made to respond to recent Ukrainian drone strikes on air bases housing Russian strategic bombers. Trump also noted that the conversation, while going well, "will not lead to immediate peace."

➡️In addition, the two leaders discussed Iran and the ongoing negotiations regarding their nuclear program. Notably, Trump also expressed his belief that Putin agreed that Iran must not acquire a nuclear weapon. The Russian Foreign Ministry has not yet issued a statement on the call.
