The crash of a passenger plane in India could have been caused by pilot error, former aircraft commander and aviation safety specialist Alexander Romanov told Mash.

There are no signs of engine failure, such as jerks or unstable emissions, although a technical malfunction cannot be completely ruled out. However, the aircraft's behavior is more consistent with an aerodynamic stall caused by erroneous retraction of the mechanization, Romanov concluded.
