Some Bayern Munich loanees had the chance to face their parent clubs. Heidenheim fell flat as both loanees had a chance to play some. Borussia Dortmund v Borussia Mönchengladbach - Bundesliga Photo by Rene Nijhuis/MB Media/Getty Images As the centre back looks to leave Gladbach, he has several suitors. If there is anything the injury crisis taught us, it is that Bayern Munich desperately needs more squad depth. As the team continues to settle in well with Vincent Kompany and co., their odds of doing well in the European stage have risen exponentially. The team put up brave fights against an in-form Inter Milan, despite running with a severely depleted squad. Given their prospects, it is only natural that the upcoming transfer window will be utilised to fortify the squad. Bayern, in an attempt to solidify the defense have reportedly been looking into Borussia Mönchengladbach defender Kō Itakura. Per Rheinische Post and @iMiaSanMia, the centre-back also being sought after by Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt. The former Kawasaki Frontale and Manchester City defender is also being heavily pursued by clubs from the Premier League and him leaving Gladbach this summer is highly likely. It is only natural that the Bavarians are looking at him — he is a fantastic passer, and terrific at tackling with a very good tackle win rate. Additionally, what makes him a Bayern pursuit is his versatility — he can additionally play as a defensive midfielder. All in all, he might be a very good option for the Bavarians but it remains to be seen if they will be able to outbid the several competing parties. Are Bayern Munich fans just exhausted and mentally worn down from the past few seasons? Maybe! The supporters might be losing some steam after a tumultuous period, so let’s talk about why so many are just zapped. We’ve also got some chatter on the transfer rumors surrounding Kim Min-jae and why Joshua Kimmich is shouldering so much of the blame after Bayern was eliminated from the Champions League by Inter Milan. 1. FC Heidenheim 1846 v FC Bayern München - Bundesliga Photo by Christian Kaspar-Bartke/Getty Images The French winger will have some very attractive options this summer. Following the 2020 Champions League title, Bayern Munich has struggled to find consistent play from its wingers. Bayern has struggled to unload its current crop of wingers due to excessive salaries that did not line up with their on-field performances. After last summer’s Bayern €60M successful acquisition of Michael Olise from Crystal Palace, Bayern are looking to upgrade the left wing. Olise has been considered a steal and currently leads the Bundesliga with 11 assists. A natural scorer on the left wing would be an excellent complement to Olise’s style. In the upcoming summer transfer window, Bayern has identified Kingsley Coman as a transfer candidate. A report from Sport Bild indicates that a Premier League club has reciprocated that interest (via @iMiaSanMia).Arsenal have spoken to the management of Kingsley Coman to express their interest, but have not spoken directly to the player yet. Coman has not actively told Bayern that he wants to leave. The Frenchman has a very good relationship with Vincent Kompany. Nevertheless, Bayern are very open to selling Coman this summer and are willing to listen to offers, as they want to bring in ‘new blood’ in the squad.Coman’s €19M salary at Bayern would make him the highest paid player at Arsenal FC. He would likely need to accept a pay cut or Bayern would be forced to make a financial concession to make the deal work.Bayern Munich traveled to Heidenheim and the home side was dead on arrival. Lifeless, hapless, and overwhelmed, Heidenheim showed none of that trademark fight that was so present in the early weeks of this season. The Bavarians won 4-0 in a rout, which was a good sign for a squad that has easily lost focus in these situations in the past. Let’s talk about all of that and more on the Bavarian Podcast Work — Postgame Show. This is what we have on tap:A look at the starting XI and our thoughts on the rotation.Frans Krätzig started, but Paul Wanner did not — continuing a trend that has felled the phenom of late.Heidenheim was overwhelmed form the beginning and Bayern Munich seized its opportunity. FC Internazionale Milano v FC Bayern München - UEFA Champions League 2024/25 Quarter Final Second Leg Photo by Harry Langer/DeFodi Images/DeFodi via Getty Images Is Kim MIn-jae available this summer? According to a report from Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna (as captured by @iMiaSsnMia), Chelsea and Newcastle both have interest in Bayern Munich center-back Kim Min-jae: Several Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Newcastle have contacted the management of Kim Min-jae to inquire about a potential summer transfer. A Serie A club is also interested. Kim is open to a Premier League move. The Korean defender spent the large majority dealing with Achilles tendonitis, but did make some major mistakes during the stretch run of the season for the second straight campaign. Right now, it is hard to envision Bayern Munich letting Min-jae leave, but if the right offer comes along...all bets might be off. 1. FC Heidenheim 1846 v FC Bayern München - Bundesliga Photo by M. Donato/FC Bayern via Getty Images Bayern Munich is in the homestretch... Alleged Bayern target comments on rumors (HLN via @iMiaSanMia)Genk midfielder Konstantinos Karetsas has heard the rumors regarding Bayern Munich’s alleged interest in him, but do not expect the youngster to let it overwhelm him. “Not really, because I’m not planning on leaving here yet. It’s nice to hear your name linked to those big clubs, but there’s no point in getting excited about it. You always have to stay calm. We will look step by step at what is best for me. I definitely see myself staying at Genk next season - unless things go wrong between the club and me, but the relationship has always been good. That will remain the case,” said Karetsas.Whether or not Bayern Munich actually signs Karetsas remains to be seen, but patience will be key for the youngster if he decides to join a Bayern Munich side that already has so many options in the attacking midfield role. Højlund’s price tag is set (CaughtOffside)If a club wants Manchester United striker Rasmus Højlund, it will have to pay €65 million: Manchester United have set an asking price of around €65m for misfiring young striker Rasmus Hojlund as clubs show an interest in him ahead of the summer.Sources with a close understanding of the situation have informed CaughtOffside that the Red Devils are open to letting Hojlund go if interested clubs pay up for him.The Denmark international has flopped during his time at Man Utd, but the club are still keen to bring in close to what they paid Atalanta for him.It could be that Hojlund will get the chance to return to Serie A, with sources telling CaughtOffside that Juventus, Inter Milan and Napoli are all considering moving for him.Even if things haven’t worked out for the 22-year-old during his time at Old Trafford, he was very highly rated during his time in Italy, so it perhaps makes sense that big clubs there are still prepared to give him a chance.Bavarian Podcast Works — Flagship Show: Season 7, Episode 39 (Bavarian Football Works)Bayern Munich is in the homestretch of its season.Holding an eight-point lead in the league over Bayer Leverkusen with four games to play, the Meisterschale is firmly within reach. FC Schalke 04 v TSG Hoffenheim - Bundesliga Photo by TF-Images/Getty Images Queue the waterworks. Nadiem Amiri and Julian Nagelsmann are reuniting. Nadiem Amiri was coached by the young Julian Nagelsmann at TSG Hoffenheim, where both of their careers started to flourish in their respective roles. Now the two will finally reunite as former Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann has called up his former talent to the national team. Amiri stated this week that the call from Julian Nagelsmann made him quite emotional.“After I received a call from Julian Nagelsmann on Tuesday, I was in tears. It was my dream for so long to be able to play for the national team again. I worked hard, trying to improve every day”, said Amiri, as captured by @iMiaSanMia. “Nadiem is having an outstanding season. He’s a very good example of how you can take a step back to push your career forward”, Nagelsmann added.Mainz fan or not, you can’t help but feel happy for Amiri, who has done more than enough to earn the call to Germany this time around. Mainz sit third in the Bundesliga, largely due to Amiri’s performances. This might be an important callup though. Brandt and Havertz, who started the last two matches under Nagelsmann at the central attacking midfielder position, are both missing from March’s squad. It is quite possible for Amiri to start at least one of the two matches for Germany, where he can truly prove his worth. If anyone knows how to get the best of Amiri, it is Nagelsmann.

1. FC Heidenheim 1846 v FC Bayern München - Bundesliga Photo by M. Donato/FC Bayern via Getty Images Bayern Munich is inching closer to a title... Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane broke another record when he scored his 60th Bundesliga goal in 60 league games during the team’s 4-0 win over Heidenheim. When asked about Kane’s achievement and whether or not the club owes him a trophy for being so good, board member for sport Max Eberl said that a league title is the goal for everyone. “Harry is doing it himself. He’s scoring the goals, getting involved and getting on well with his teammates. Harry is doing everything, we as a club are doing everything - and of course we want to bring the title back to Munich,” said Eberl (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).Kane’s elusive first trophy looks to be getting closer and closer to reality — but what happens when Kane finally wins one? Most are speculating that he will leave Bayern Munich in 2026, while others think Kane will play out his deal, which runs through 2027. No matter what happens, with the way that Kane has performed during his tenure in Bavaria, his transfer to Germany has been a success from a team standpoint. However, for Kane, everything hinges on winning a trophy. Looking for more thoughts and analysis on Bayern Munich’s 4-0 win over Heidenheim in the Bundesliga? Bayer 04 Leverkusen v FC Bayern München - UEFA Champions League 2024/25 Round of 16 Second Leg Photo by Oliver Kaelke/DeFodi Images via Getty Images Considering future opponents like Inter, Bayern needs someone with his profile anyway. João Palhinha’s stint in Bayern Munich so far has been anything but smooth. The onslaught of injuries made it impossible for him to get any playing time. With barely any chances to prove himself, he stands at the risk of being transferred elsewhere. But he is not one to care. Addressing the rumors of departure per @iMiaSanMia, Palhinha has made it clear that his aim to stay and win titles here remains. He admits that despite the difficult season, he is not completely unfamiliar with setbacks due to injury. He believes in his capabilities and is keen on earning time on the pitch. “I don’t care about rumours. I’m still happy at Bayern. Of course, I want things to be different. This season hasn’t been easy for me at times. But this isn’t the first time in my career. And I’m here because I’ve done some things very well before. I know what I’m capable of, and I’ll fight for playing time. I want to win titles here,” said Palhinha. With his profile, playing style and potential, it makes sense to retain him. He provides an element of aggression that is not very Bayern-like but is much needed. He is willing to tackle and challenge the opposition, though a bit recklessly. He is equally involved in the attack with active efforts in progressing the ball into the final third. The numbers show his merit and one can only hope that he stays long enough to show more tangible results.

FC Bayern München v Borussia Dortmund - Bundesliga Photo by Marcel Engelbrecht - firo sportphoto/Getty Images Bayern appears to be ready to finally cut their losses with Coman and try to generate funds from his sale. Kingsley Coman is undoubtedly a world beater on his day, but his tenure at Bayern Munich has unfortunately been riddled with injury problems that have left so much to be desired for the French international. Even this current season, Coman has missed out on a handful of matches through separate injury spells in a season where Vincent Kompany has often times changed his preferred starting winger that he chooses to play opposite of Michael Olise.During last summer’s transfer window, Coman was heavily linked with a potential move to the Saudi Pro League, but ultimately decided against a move there, wanting to stay at Bayern for the time being. Things could very well change after the end of this season, though.Per information from Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern is entirely open to selling Coman during this summer’s transfer window and talks are soon set to begin with regards to his future. His current contract with the club runs through June 2027 and his market value has been on a steady decline, so this is really a crucial window to try to offload the winger for any sort of significant transfer fee.At this juncture, Arsenal has been in contact with the player and he remains on the list of the top four clubs in the Saudi Pro League. Earlier in his career, Coman had expressed a preference to moving to the Premier League in England, but Bayern would certainly have the potential for a higher transfer fee if he were to go to Saudi Arabia. As far as figures are concerned, Bayern is currently anticipating that a move to England would see them make somewhere in the range of €35–40m from the winger, whereas they would be expecting upwards of €50m if he were to move to one of the Saudi Pro League clubs. While there’s not that drastic of a difference in price, every penny will count with Bayern’s eagerly-awaited pursuit of Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Wirtz this summer. The club has made it clear they are ready to go all out to try to sign him during the summer window and they have been actively working to free up and generate funds for what would be a move somewhere in the ballpark of €140m move for Wirtz.

FC Internazionale Milano v FC Bayern München - UEFA Champions League 2024/25 Quarter Final Second Leg Photo by Image Photo Agency/Getty Images What a mess... A recent report on the immense workload that Bayern Munich and Korean defender Kim Min-jae was subjected to has raised concerns over the handling of players and long-term effects on their physical wellbeing. Korea MNT pointed fingers at the club for the visible drop in the 28-year-old’s performances and subsequent scrutiny, but Max Eberl said they’re buying into the situation too much.“It was never a threat to his health. I don’t want to make too much of it,” Eberl said (Bild as captured by Twitter account @iMiaSanMia). “But, of course, he had problems and couldn’t really train. But we needed him. I think some of the criticism of Min-jae is exaggerated. It’s true that he was involved in one or two of the goals conceded, but it’s not all bad.”BFW AnalysisBoth sides share the blame for how Kim’s situation came to this point. If you remember, Kim played all the minutes for Bayern last season, went on international duty where he also played every game, went back to Munich and continued to play even more games. That Real Madrid game can be considered a prime example of fatigue taking its toll on him. This season, he’s not at 100% fitness yet Vincent Kompany continues to play him despite obvious signs that the player was about give way at any second. The 38-year-old Belgian’s insistence on using the same players has become the folly of his system. Even in recent games: Kompany played the same lineup along the stretch of the Champions League Quarterfinals, both home and away, and went 0/3 in wins. He did change things up for Heidenheim and visible improvements were seen. The point here is that Kim should have been given more rest this season, even if he proved to be a capable partner to Dayot Upamecano (who is also out injured). What’s the point of having a bench if you’re not going to use it as much? Are Bayern Munich fans just exhausted and mentally worn down from the past few seasons? Maybe! The supporters might be losing some steam after a tumultuous period, so let’s talk about why so many are just zapped. FC Bayern München v Sport-Club Freiburg - Bundesliga Photo by F. Noever/FC Bayern via Getty Images Initial leaks show an interesting lineup of Bayern Munich kits next season.... Bayern Munich has a history of iconic shirts over the years. From the classic red home kit, to some more creative concepts, Bayern fans have worn their classic kits for decades. Thanks to the internet, fans get a good idea of next season’s shirts ahead of time thanks to leaks. Next season is no different. All three Bayern Munich kits for next season have now all been leaked. First, the Bayern Munich home kit will be a classic red shirt with some interesting white accents and striped sleeves. It almost looks like fang marks of white clashing with the red, but it works fairly well.As for the away kit, this is where things start to go wrong. A clash of color and design simply does not work, or at least in early concept. Time will tell how fans react to this kit, but it manages to not appeal to both classic fans nor fans looking for original but good looking shirts.Bayern's home, away and third kits for next season pic.twitter.com/HPMuj3ZN1y— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) April 20, 2025Lastly, the third kit is the exception. Fans might see similarities between this new third kit and Ajax’s 2021/2022 third kit, inspired by Bob Marley. The Ajax kit was brilliant and Bayern Munich’s new third kit seems like an even more organized and sharper version of that kit. Safe to say that this one should be well received by fans, apart from the clear lack of Bayern branding. Are Bayern Munich fans just exhausted and mentally worn down from the past few seasons? Maybe! The supporters might be losing some steam after a tumultuous period, so let’s talk about why so many are just zapped. RB Leipzig - 1. FC Union Berlin Photo by Robert Michael/picture alliance via Getty Images Internally, there is a great deal of criticism that has been lodged in the direction of Eberl, which Matthäus understands. So much was always going to be expected of Max Eberl when he stepped into his role as board member for sport at Bayern Munich following his exit from RB Leipzig, and there is simply no escaping the limelight with the German Rekordmeister. Working alongside sporting director Christoph Freund, Eberl has been spearheading Bayern’s transfer market activity ever since he stepped into his role at the beginning of March in 2024.So far, Eberl and Freund have been responsible for signing Hiroki Itō, João Palhinha, and Michael Olise, along with the return of Josip Stanišić from his loan spell with Bayer Leverkusen. He also helped bring in keeper Jonas Urbig from FC Köln this winter amidst Manuel Neuer’s injury absence as well as Sven Ulreich’s extended unavailability due to personal reasons. Most recently, the contract extensions of Alphonso Davies, Jamal Musiala, and Joshua Kimmich were secured, costing the club a considerable deal of money - money that some of the club’s supervisory board feels the club should have saved with the prospective signing of Florian Wirtz on the horizon this summer. Former Bayern and Germany legend Lothar Matthäus recently offered his view on the some of the current striges between Eberl and Bayern’s board, noting that he also feels there are things Eberl could have done differently. “One might have expected different transfers from Max, especially regarding sales. FC Bayern would also have naturally liked to save money in the negotiations with Jamal Musiala and Alphonso Davies - money that the club has earned over the years and put aside. That has led to criticism of Eberl,” Matthäus explained via Sky Sport (via @iMiaSanMia). FC Internazionale Milano v FC Bayern München - UEFA Champions League 2024/25 Quarter Final Second Leg Photo by Harry Langer/DeFodi Images/DeFodi via Getty Images It’s been an open secret that Bayern was going to be making a really strong push to sign Wirtz this summer, and there has been a lot of work going on behind the scenes to aide in those efforts. It’s known that the Leverkusen and Germany playmaker would cost upwards of 150-million euros to sign, so Bayern needed to be cognizant of that sentiment and try to save money where feasible. “Everyone knows that Florian Wirtz has been spoken to or is being negotiated with, and that Eberl is not at the table, but rather people from the past who still have influence at FC Bayern. As I see it from the outside, Eberl is not involved in these plans. Uli Hoeneß has been in contact with the Wirtz family for more than a year. He and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge are handling this matter on their own,” Matthäus described in his estimation of how the club is trying to persuade Wirtz to leave Leverkusen and join them. The structure of the club certainly has a history of both Rummenigge and Hoeneß steamrolling decision-making processes, especially when they were club CEO and president. For anyone who steps into Bayern’s front office, there are difficult waters to navigate through in that sense — the opinions of the pair of power figures are always going to bear weight. All things considered, the way Thomas Müller’s contract and decision to not offer him an extension was handled is something else that goes against Eberl in Matthäus’ opinion. The club waited very late to let the club legend know this would be his last season with Bayern. Of course, it is not all Eberl’s doing, but it does fall directly under his purview. “Such things have become common in recent years and are not good for a healthy energy within the club. The way the Müller situation was handled also did Eberl no good. Such mistakes are bad. Not only in internal communication, but also for the external image, which has become shaky in recent years,” Matthäus explained on the matter. There is certainly time for the relationship between…

FC Heidenheim 1846 v FC Bayern München - Bundesliga Photo by Harry Langer/DeFodi Images/DeFodi via Getty Images They know who the GOAT is Bayern Munich beat Heidenheim 4-0 at the weekend which, coupled with Bayer Leverkusen dropping points to St. Pauli, has put the Rekordmeister on the verge of clinching the Bundesliga title as early as next week. During their away day at Heidenheim, the home fans jeered at the visiting team but made a special exception for one player:Before Saturday’s game, Bayern players were received with boos by Heidenheim fans when they were out for warm-up, as is usually the case for the away teams. The only exception was Thomas Müller, who was out on the pitch after the rest of his teammates. Müller was received with a round of applause from the home fans, in what was his last appearance at the Voith Arena.– Heidenheimer Zeitung via Twitter account @iMiaSanMiaAlthough it has been a month since Bayern decided against renewing Müller’s contract, fans still feel wronged about that baffling decision. Aston Villa FC v Paris Saint-Germain - UEFA Champions League 2024/25 Quarter Final Second Leg Photo by Carl Recine/Getty Images It’s Arsenal vs. PSG and Inter vs. Barça in the semis... We’re still not quite over Bayern Munich being knocked out of this year’s Champions League...but it has happened. One of the remaining four teams will lift the trophy in May at the Allianz. Who would you rather?Let’s run through the contenders.FC Barcelona — Hansi Flick! Gone but not forgotten. The former Bayern coach is showing he’s still got it and flexing his comically high line with an entertaining cast of players at Barça...including the likes of Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, and of course, Robert Lewandowski. The Catalans almost blew a huge first leg lead to Borussia Dortmund, and won’t have an easy matchup against Inter ...but will be a must-watch. Flick will be a legend if he wins the UCL with two teams.Arsenal FC — It is a pity Germany men’s national team striker Kai Havertz is out the rest of the season, as this would have been a perfect showcase for his importance to a top side in that role. In his place Mikel Merino is entertaining and scoring, another midfielder thrust into the role of the (false?) nine. Mikel Arteta’s side play some fun football. They finally took down Real Madrid...and after all these years, don’t the Gunners deserve something nice?Paris Saint-Germain — Okay, who wants this. But Luis Enrique’s side has put Paris firmly past their glitzy but shallow era and they are now playing with the cohesiveness for which they once looked upon Bayern with envy. Inter Milan — Well, how about it? The well-drilled side with the stingy defense, impressive center-backs, and brutal efficiency would make a fitting counter-point to a modern footballing world full of sides looking to control via dominant possession. And wouldn’t it soften the sting for Bayern to have lost to the eventual champions? So — which team are you rooting for now? Or are you all checked out without the Bavarians in the game? Let us know in the comments below!Looking for more thoughts and analysis of Bayern Munich 2-2 draw with Inter Milan in the Champions League that saw the Bavarians eliminated from the competition on an aggregate score of 4-3? Well, we have you covered with that on the Bavarian Podcast Works — Postgame Show where we break it all down. You can unwind with us as we lament the lost opportunity, how it got to this point, and why Vincent Kompany needs to improve if he wants to see out his contract in Bavaria. FC Bayern Munich - Paris Saint-Germain Photo by Sven Hoppe/picture alliance via Getty Images It certainly seems as if Bayern have no shortage of options for Kane’s backup. Bayern Munich’s clear desire to sign a backup for Harry Kane has been evident for a while. While the 31-year-old England captain has been performing brilliantly for the Bavarians, the lack of a true backup has seen fans’ hearts leap into their mouths whenever Kane goes down. Nor has the former Tottenham Hotspur player been bulletproof this season, missing multiple games through injury and seeing Bayern deprived of a focal point in attack. This is an issue Bayern want to fix and there have been plenty of recent rumors about who Bayern wants to sign as Kane’s backup, from players such as Mainz 05’s Jonathan Burkardt to VfB Stuttgart’s Nick Woltemade. That makes sense. They are German and proven in the Bundesliga. But Christian Falk, as captured by @iMiaSanMia, reports that a candidate that fits neither criteria is also being watched by the Bavarians:Another striker being watched by Bayern is Moise Kean. However, there are doubts over his consistency.Kean, of course, is coming off of a two-goal performance for Italy against Germany which nearly saw the 2021 European Champions knock Germany out, but fall just short. Kean’s career has been one of intrigue, as he grew up a Juventus academy product and made a name for himself only to leave via a big money move to...Everton. His career trajectory has seen him then loaned out to Paris Saint Germain, then sold back to Juventus, before he left to Fiorentina in the summer of 2024. The reason he keeps getting such high profile moves is that there are clear signs of a very good player in Kean, which he is revealing for Fiorentina this season. La Viola is just one point off of the European spots and are in this position in large parts thanks to Kean’s phenomenal 16 league goals, which see him second in the league’s scoring rankings. Perhaps Fiorentina would be willing to sell if they get an offer significantly above the €13 million they paid for Kean. Perhaps. But even if they would, would a notoriously inconsistent player really be the best backup for Kane? Especially when he has just managed to find a place where he can play a lot of minutes? Especially considering that Bayern do not sign Italians? It is hard to see this move happening.Looking to catch up on all of the weekend’s action from Germany’s top flight? FC Bayern München v Borussia Dortmund - Bundesliga Photo by Marcel Engelbrecht - firo sportphoto/Getty Images What a turn around from last year A couple months ago, Bayern Munich was looking to offload German international Leon Goretzka from the squad, following multiple unsatisfactory performances on the pitch. However, it looks like the club has changed it’s mind...for now.Per a report from Christian Falk (captured by @iMiaSanMia), Leon Goretzka ‘has every intention of fulfilling his contract with Bayern Munich’. The contract he is currently on should see him stay as a midfielder until 2026, something that was under dispute just a couple months ago. Some might say ‘under dispute’ is an understatement, considering the lengths Bayern went to in order to push Goretzka out of the squad. Nevertheless, despite being left out of the squad multiple times, the skilled midfielder fought his way back to the top. Goretzka has recently been one of the most used players in Vincent Kompany’s starting XI, more than proving his importance to the squad. Another factor contributing to Goretzka decision to stay is the fact that he is completely aware that no other club would pay his €17m salary demands. He was touted to move to the Premier League, specifically Manchester United, who displayed interest in signing him, but even then, no club there would be willing to shell out that kind of cash. What happens at the end of his contract in 2026 is still wrapped in a question mark, but Goretzka will most probably be free to choose another club to move to as a free agent.

FC Bayern München v Borussia Dortmund - Bundesliga Photo by Sebastian Widmann/Getty Images Reports indicate Serge Gnabry is bound to stay one more year in Munich. Serge Gnabry has had a rollercoaster of a career. From having to prove himself at several clubs, he finally got the chance to be a star at Bayern Munich. It wouldn’t take long for Gnabry to make his impact, and was once valued at 90 million euros during the time of Bayern’s famous Champions League conquest in 2020. Fast forward to today, the situation has greatly changed.Although Gnabry has still managed to get 6 goals and 3 assists in limited playtime this season, his production has certainly dropped from his time during 2018-2023 where he consistently reached 20+ goal contributions each season.Bayern Munich appears ready to unload several players in order to fundraise for a star such as Florian Wirtz, and it seemed as though Gnabry would be the top sale alongside Kingsley Coman. As of now, Serge #Gnabry is set to stay at FC Bayern next season. No transfer is planned, the market is not being explored, and no talks are currently ongoing.

His contract runs until 2026 and Gnabry definitely wants to stay.

Kingsley #Coman remains the winger expected to… pic.twitter.com/K7AcVaAYAs— Florian Plettenberg (@Plettigoal) April 14, 2025SkySportDE reporter Florian Plettenberg claims that Serge Gnabry is set to stay until his contract expires in 2026. Whereas, Kingsley Coman is now the winger expected to offload in order to generate a sum.
