❓: Уважаемый Анатолий Иванович, как Вы могли бы прокомментировать введенные Вашингтоном рестрикции против российских СМИ за якобы вмешательство в электоральные процессы в Америке путем проведения «кампании по дезинформации»?
💬 А.И.Антонов: Администрация сделала очередной выпад против Российской Федерации. Подтверждена русофобская политика, которая вряд ли будет изменена в будущем.
Ощущение таково, что демократы хотят уже сейчас переложить часть вины за свои промахи в ходе электоральной борьбы на Россию. Для оправдания своих действий в ход идет ложь, стремление опорочить российские средства массовой информации, предоставляющие здесь небольшой «глоток» настоящей правды об истинной американской политике.
⚠️ По существу, чиновники придают дополнительный импульс агрессивной фазе «охоты на ведьм» с инакомыслием. Прежние примеры безрассудного курса – недавние рейды ФБР по месту проживания американских политологов Д.Саймса и С.Риттера, а также прошедшие сегодня обыски в квартирах россиян, которые работают в США.
В администрации запутались. Мы слышим слова с упреком о вмешательстве в электоральные процессы и одновременно заявления о том, что данная акция никак не связана с предстоящими выборами президента.
Задача понятна – «зачистить» информационное пространство от «неудобной» правды. Сгустить атмосферу русофобии, списав собственный провал на внешний фактор. В этот раз в качестве мишени выбрана медиагруппа «Россия сегодня» и ее дочерние компании.
❗️Подчеркну, мы всегда уважали и будем уважать выбор американского народа, каким бы он ни был. Никогда не вмешивались во внутренние дела США и не намерены делать это в будущем. Категорически отвергаем лживые обвинения в адрес российских информационных структур и требуем отмены введенных административных ограничений на работу наших журналистов в Америке.
Российская сторона никогда не ставила знак равенства между мудрым народом Соединенных Штатов и администрацией. Всем очевидно: местные власти делают все, чтобы не только «надорвать» ткань российско-американских связей, но полностью выжечь их основу. Такая политика несет опасность делу сохранения мира и глобальной стабильности.

💬 Санкционные бесчинства Вашингтона не знают границ. В присущем им неоколониальном запале американские власти захватили венесуэльский президентский борт, который находился на сервисном обслуживании в Доминиканской Республике.
☝️ В который раз продемонстрировано полное пренебрежение международно-правовыми нормами и с опорой на «право сильного» послан очередной сигнал, что США, в их понимании, могут распоряжаться суверенной собственностью другого государства.
К слову, это не первый авиалайнер, который Вашингтон забирает у Каракаса. В начале этого года был конфискован венесуэльский транспортный самолёт, задержанный по американской указке в Аргентине.
❗️ Но нынешний захват осуществлён с особым имперским высокомерием и с претензией на нравоучения. Это демонстрация всем: от санкционного грабежа не защищены никто и ничто – будь то бизнес-активы, банковские резервы, недвижимость или транспортные средства. Отсутствие правовых норм – это первое из пресловутых «правил», на которых «коллективный Запад» строит модель миропорядка в духе глобальной «доктрины Монро».
Вашингтон действует в стиле Билла Сайкса – злобного и безжалостного криминального авторитета из романа про Оливера Твиста классика англоязычной литературы XIX века Чарльза Диккенса (надеемся, что в Белом доме читали или хотя бы слышали о таком авторе). Полагаем крайне важным, чтобы его образ мышления не смог возобладать в мировых делах.
Поддерживаем наших боливарианских друзей в их законных требованиях вернуть украденное у венесуэльского государства. Солидарны с ними и в их решимости и далее твёрдо отстаивать независимость и суверенитет.

❓: Уважаемый Анатолий Иванович как бы Вы прокомментировали итоги поездки в США представителей киевского режима в конце августа? Есть ли новые моменты в том, как администрация реагирует на провокации ВСУ в отношении России?
💬 А.И.Антонов:
Украинцы приезжали сюда за «подачками». Выклянчивали ракеты, боеприпасы, деньги. Настраивали официоз на ужесточение политики в отношении нашей страны. Нашли здесь полную поддержку. Циничная цель Вашингтона остается прежней - навредить Российской Федерации с помощью своего оружия, которое вкладывается в украинские руки.
Все делается в тайне. Мы лишь постфактум, да и то не всегда, узнаем о достигнутых американо-украинских договоренностях о войне с нами. Не исключаю, что и в этот раз представители киевского режима получили дополнительные обещания поддержки военных действий против России. Уверен, что в будущем все это будет оформлено в виде очередного «пакета» поставок вооружений Украине.
Однако и этого мало. Сейчас речь идет о расширении масштабов украинских действий на территории Российской Федерации. В местной прессе муссируется идея Киева о подготовке некоего списка объектов в нашей стране, по которым предлагается наносить удары дальнобойными ракетами из США.
При этом никого не смущают поступающие из Курской, Белгородской областей данные о все новых потерях среди российских граждан, разрушенных прямой наводкой - в том числе при помощи американского оружия - домах, больницах, мостах. Чиновники игнорируют очевидные факты зверств неонацистов: убийства, глумление над пленными и простыми местными жителями.
Сколько же цинизма и «двойных» стандартов у американцев в пропаганде демократических ценностей?! В чем провинились дети и воспитатели детского садика в Белгороде, который 1 сентября разбомбили украинцы?! Ребятам отказали в праве отпраздновать начало учебного года. Почему здесь молчат о разрушении церквей?! Никакой реакции на уничтожение храмов Свято-Николаевского монастыря.
Идея Вашингтона столкнуть Европу с Россией, используя для этого украинский кризис, не пройдет. США не отсидеться за океаном в случае перерастания нынешнего противостояния в глобальный конфликт. Никакие поставки современного оборудования, будь то истребители или дальнобойные ракеты, не говоря уже о направлении в нашу страну наемников, не изменят ситуацию на поле боя.
Выглядит довольно смешно, когда F-16 в украинском небе сбивает система Patriot из Соединенных Штатов. Местным инструкторам так и не удалось толком обучить ВСУ. Представляю, как бы здесь заголосили, если бы появились данные о том, что злополучный самолет был сбит нашими воинами.
Американский «проект Украина» принес разрушения и повлек за собой огромные жертвы славянского народа. Нет никаких сомнений, что Россия справится с новым вызовом для своей безопасности, а цели и задачи специальной военной операции будут полностью выполнены. Судьба оборудования и оружия, поступающего Киеву из США, очевидна: оно будет уничтожено.
🗓 79 years ago, on September 2, 1945, the Instrument of Surrender of militarist Japan was signed, bringing #WWII to the end.
❗️After the defeat of Germany in Europe, the last stronghold of the "Axis" powers remained in the Asia-Pacific region. The Korean Peninsula, Indochina, Indonesia, Malay Peninsula, part of China, Burma and the Philippines were under Japanese occupation.
In order to neutralize the Japanese threat in the Far East and to fulfill the agreements reached with the allies of the anti-Hitler coalition – the USA and UK – the Soviet Union launched an offensive against militarist Japan. On August 9, the Manchurian strategic offensive operation of the Soviet forces commenced.
🌟 As a result of a rapid advancement and coordinated teamwork of the army, aviation and navy, Soviet forces defeated the Kwantung army. During the operation, the territories of China and North Korea were liberated from Japanese occupation. For only just 23 days of combat, the Red Army crushed the Japanese militaristic machine and eliminated the foothold of the enemy's military and economic base in Asia.
📑 The official ceremony of signing the Instrument of Surrender of Japan took place on September 2, 1945, on board the USS "Missouri" in Tokyo Bay. According to this document, "the unconditional surrender to the Allied Powers of the Japanese Imperial General Headquarters, all Japanese armed forces, and all armed forces under Japanese control, regardless of where they are" was declared. On behalf of the Soviet Union, the Instrument was signed by Lieutenant General Kuzma Derevyanko.
Japan fully accepted the terms of the Potsdam Declaration of 1945. According to the Instrument, military actions on Japan's part ceased immediately, all Japanese and Japanese-controlled armed forces surrendered unconditionally.
🎖 The USSR Supreme Soviet Presidium issued an executive order "On Declaring September 3, 1945 the Day of Victory over Japan". Today the date September 3rd in our country is marked as the Day of Military Glory (Victory Day over militaristic Japan and the end of World War II).

По традиции праздничное мероприятие началось с исполнения гимна Российской Федерации и подъёма Государственного флага.
Посол Анатолий Иванович Антонов поздравил школьников, родителей и учителей с Днём знаний. В своём напутствии руководитель дипмиссии пожелал ребятам успехов, стараний в учёбе и настойчивости, а педагогам – сил и вдохновения в их непростом, но столь важном и востребованном труде.
Посол А.И.Антонов также подчеркнул важность изучения истории, что особенно значимо по мере приближения 80-летия Победы в Великой Отечественной войне, которое будет отмечаться в наступающем учебном году.

🗓 September 1st marks 85 years ago since the start of World War II – the bloodiest conflict in the history of mankind. It claimed many dozens of millions of peoples' lives (by some estimates, 80+ mln perished), including over 27 million citizens of the Soviet Union.
▪️ 61 states, with over 80 percent of the world’s population, were drawn into the bloody ordeal unleashed by the Axis powers; hostilities spread to 40 countries.

The background of the greatest tragedy of the 20th century still remains in the focus of historians’ attention. The entire range of contradictions that provoked the war stemmed from World War I and can be traced back to the Treaty of Versailles signed in 1919.
👉 It was the Versailles system of international relations, drafted by the UK and France, that made the basis for the rise of revanchist sentiments in Europe. The League of Nations, the organization established to settle international disputes within the legal framework, technically became a tool for the Western powers to achieve their political goals.
Not surprising that in Europe, torn by contradictions, fascism rapidly gained popularity. Politicians and extreme right-wing ideologues who were convinced of the superiority of their nation and ethnicities came to power first in Italy (1922) and then in Germany (1933), humiliated by the Versailles Treaty. The political establishment of the Western countries preferred to remain unaware and close their eyes on the danger these new ideologies presented. Their cynical view considered that Nazi aggression could be, in a typical Anglo-Saxon style, redirected towards the east where the young Soviet state was rapidly developing.
The infamous Munich Betrayal of 1938 was the apotheosis of the self-serving “appeasement” policy that the Western countries had preferred to building a collective security system suggested by the Soviet Union. With the tacit consent by the UK and France, Hitler ruthlessly annexed the sovereign state of Czechoslovakia. It was only Moscow that was willing to provide military assistance to the Czechoslovakians, but was unable to do so due to Poland that was playing along with Hitler and taking advantage of Czechoslovakia’s annexation by occupying the Cieszyn region.
🔻 A year later, a similar drama played out in the Far East: the Anglo-Japanese treaty was signed in June 1939, untying Tokyo’s hands in China. The Soviet Union could have become the next victim of militarist Japan. According to recently declassified documents, the Japanese command had been planning a possible attack against the Soviet Union since 1938, with nearly a million-strong Kwantung Army troops deployed along the border and ready to invade of our country at any moment, with its soldiers and officers known to show no aversion to human experiments to develop biological weapons. The Soviet Union had to contain Japan’s potential invasion by keeping substantial forces on its eastern borders until the very end of the war.
❗️ Hitler's invasion of Poland on September 1, 1939 was a direct consequence of the policy of intrigues and manuevers pursued by the West, which did not allow to create an anti-Hitler coalition to jointly resist the Third Reich.
❌ In this context, the assertions of an alleged ‘equivalence’ between Nazism and Communism are unacceptable and blasphemous, as are the attempts to place equal blame for the start of the war on Germany and the Soviet Union in order to downplay the decisive contribution of the Soviet Union on the battlefields of the Great Patriotic War, which crushed Hitler’s war machine, and to diminish the heroism of our soldiers-liberators.
☝️ Defeating the most aggressive reactionary forces was the most important outcome of the Great Victory of May 9, 1945. Our country saved many peoples (considered by the Nazis and their cronies “non-Aryan”), that the Nazis planned to kill in concentration camps or to turn into slaves.

❓ : Dear Ambassador, on August 31, 2017, American authorities took unprecedented measures to seize Russian diplomatic property in Washington and San Francisco. How would you comment on the current position of the US administration regarding the prospects of returning the seized real estate?
💬 : A.I.Antonov: We constantly raise the issue of returning our diplomatic property in contacts with representatives of the White House and the State Department at all levels. I emphasize that the American position has not changed. We receive refusals to our numerous diplomatic notes demanding access just to access the condition of the property.
▪️ During meetings local officials do not hide that they have no intentions to discuss this topic. Over the past seven years we have not heard a single legally valid argument justifying Washington's egregious behavior. Vague references to some suspicions of espionage do not provide grounds for violating the principle of property inviolability, provided for by both international law and American legislation.
▫️ It is obvious to us that this is about simple score-settling, a desire to annoy and take revenge on Russia. When the US administration doesn't like someone's foreign policy they start hitting everything they can reach. Without trial, with complete disregard for legal norms and their own postulates.
▪️ We will continue to seek unconditional restoration of our rights to use and dispose of our diplomatic property. We call on the US authorities to come to their senses. We remind you that America has the most extensive network of diplomatic presence in the world. The precedent created by Washington destroys the rules of civilized interstate communication and will inevitably backfire on the United States.

❓: Уважаемый Анатолий Иванович, 31 августа 2017 г. американские власти пошли на беспрецедентные меры по захвату российской дипсобственности в Вашингтоне и Сан-Франциско. Как Вы могли бы прокомментировать нынешнюю позицию администрации США по перспективам возвращения изъятых объектов недвижимости?
💬 А.И.Антонов: Мы постоянно и на всех уровнях ставим вопрос о возвращении нашей дипсобственности в контактах с представителями Белого дома и Госдепартамента. Подчеркну, что в американской позиции ничего не изменилось. На наши многочисленные дипломатические ноты с требованием предоставить доступ хотя бы для оценки состояния недвижимости мы получаем отказы.
▪️ В ходе встреч местные чиновники не скрывают, что обсуждать эту тему не собираются. За прошедшие семь лет мы не услышали ни одного юридически состоятельного аргумента в оправдание вопиющего поведения Вашингтона. Расплывчатые ссылки на некие подозрения в шпионаже не дают основания нарушать принцип неприкосновенности собственности, предусмотренный как международным правом, так и американским законодательством.
▫️ Для нас очевидно, что речь идет о банальном сведении счетов, желании насолить и отомстить России. Когда администрации США не нравится чья-то внешняя политика, то она начинает бить по всему, до чего рука дотягивается. Без суда и следствия, с полным пренебрежением к юридическим нормам и собственным постулатам.
▪️ Будем добиваться безусловного восстановления своих прав на пользование и распоряжение нашей дипломатической недвижимостью. Призываем власти США одуматься. Напоминаем, что Америка располагает самой обширной сетью дипломатического присутствия в мире. Созданный Вашингтоном прецедент разрушает правила цивилизованного межгосударственного общения и неизбежно аукнется Соединенным Штатам.

🎥 29 августа в Посольстве России в США состоялся показ художественного фильма «Звезда» по случаю 80-летия завершения операции «Багратион» и освобождения Белоруссии.
▪️ Мероприятие посетили друзья из дипмиссий стран СНГ, российские представители в бреттон-вудских институтах, соотечественники и журналисты.
▪️ Перед просмотром кинокартины под песни военных лет присутствующие ознакомились с выставками о вехах Великой Отечественной войны, героях СВО, а также экспозицией «Люди новых регионов». Гости с большой благодарностью принимали от нас георгиевские ленты и книги об истории России. Белорусские дипломаты также предоставили материалы о событиях военной поры 1941-1945 гг.
▪️ С глубоким уважением вспоминаем дружбу и братство народов СССР, выдержавших самые суровые испытания в борьбе с нацистскими захватчиками.

▪️24 августа в Киеве отмечается государственный праздник – День независимости Украины.
▪️Современная украинская история стала наглядным примером упущенных возможностей и неправильно расставленных приоритетов. Власти республики в упор не замечают ошибки, которые привели к ужасающему экономическому упадку, не говоря уже о тотальной депопуляции. Искать виновных в Киеве принято у восточных границ. Виноватой во всех украинских бедах там считают Россию.
▪️Украинцы вместо процветающего демократического государства получили авторитарную милитаризированную страну, погрязшую в русофобии, коррупции и беззаконии. Но самое страшное, что республика оказалась в полной зависимости от США и их союзников. Находится на иждивении лживых и лицемерных «партнеров», использующих украинцев как марионеток и «пушечное мясо» в борьбе с Россией.
▪️В это непростое время жителям Украины можно пожелать разве что прозрения. Осознания того, что обслуживая интересы Вашингтона и его сателлитов, они ведут свою страну к тотальному разрушению.

💬 А.И.Антонов: Администрация агонизирует. Множатся безрезультативные русофобские «залпы». Задача – показать свою антироссийскую сущность на фоне кипящей здесь электоральной кампании.
▪️Экономические санкции бьют по гражданам и фирмам. Наносят вред не только внутренним потребителям, но и партнерам Америки в «третьих» странах. Лицемерие Вашингтона удивляет: здесь говорят не о России, а о компаниях в развивающихся странах.
▫️Негатив американских действий – для всех очевиден. Безрассудные шаги администрации ведут к кризису, но не созиданию. Очевидно, что для достижения подлинной независимости в экономсфере давно пора отказаться от диктата доллара в международной валютно-финансовой системе.
▪️Замечу, что в отношении России введены столь многогранные санкции, что нам, по сути, безразлично, что еще придумает администрация для того, чтобы «наказать российский народ». Мы сделаем все, чтобы наши граждане чувствовали себя спокойно и не оглядывались на американские выпады.

🇷🇺 22 августа в России отмечают День Государственного флага. Этот праздник был установлен Указом Президента России от 20 августа 1994 года.
⛵️ История же самого российского триколора насчитывает почти 320 лет. Его создателем считается Пётр I, который в 1705 году, самостоятельно начертив образец и определив порядок полос, издал указ, согласно которому все российские торговые суда должны были ходить под бело-сине-красным флагом. Однако впервые статус государственного флаг приобрёл только в 1896 году.
❗️По случаю праздника сотрудники Посольства с членами семей провели яркую торжественную акцию перед стенами дипмиссии.
🇷🇺🇺🇸 О выездном консульском обслуживании в Солт-Лейк-Сити и Чикаго
✍️ 15–18 августа сотрудники Посольства провели консульское выездное обслуживание в г.Солт-Лейк-Сити (шт.Юта) и г.Чикаго (шт.Иллинойс).
⚡️ В ходе приёма более 800 россиянам было оказано содействие в оформлении заграничных паспортов и актов о личной явке для продолжения пенсионных выплат. Cоотечественники получили консультации по самому широкому кругу вопросов.
🏅 Дипломаты уделили особое внимание и вручили памятные подарки ветеранам Великой Отечественной войны, многодетным семьям, пожилым и маломобильным гражданам. Юные посетители получили сборники сказок А.С.Пушкина, а также конфеты, произведенные отечественными кондитерскими фабриками.
⚡️ Заявители с благодарностью разобрали информационные материалы Посольства и регулярно обновляемые памятки
по консульской тематике. Традиционно высоким спросом пользовалась государственная символика (флаги Российской Федерации и георгиевские ленты).
🇷🇺🇺🇸 On August 16, the Russian Embassy in the United States hosted a gala evening of the famous Slavic scholar and photographer William Brumfield to mark his 80th anniversary. Our friends from the diplomatic missions of the CIS countries, Russian representatives in the Bretton Woods institutions, journalists and compatriots attended the event.
📸 The outstanding historian of Russian architecture introduced the audience with his own collection of photographs that reveal the unique architectural image of Russia. He gave fascinating stories about his numerous travels around our country, thanks to which he learned about its history and rich cultural heritage.
🖼 The guests under the accompaniment of live piano music have seen the exposition of works by William Brumfield. We invite everyone to visit his personal exhibition "Russian Avant-garde through the lens of an American photographer" organized at the Shchusev State Museum of Architecture in Moscow.
⚡️ Comment by Russia's Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on the United States seizing Venezuelan president’s aircraft
💬 Washington’s sanctions outrage knows no limits. In their typical neocolonialist zeal, the US authorities have seized the jet used by the Venezuelan president, which was undergoing maintenance in the Dominican Republic.
☝️ Once again, they have shown an utter disregard for international legal norms, relying on the rule of force to send yet another signal that the United States, as they see it, can dispose of another state’s sovereign property.
Incidentally, this is not the first time Washington has seized Venezuelan aircraft: earlier this year, a Venezuelan transport plane was detained in Argentina upon an order from the US.
However, this seizure of property was conducted in an imperial and arrogant manner, with a claim to moralising. It was done to show everyone that no one and nothing is immune to sanctions and robbery, be it business assets, bank reserves, real estate, or vehicles.
❗️ The lack of legal norms is at the top of the list of notorious rules used by the collective West to build a world order model in the vein of the global Monroe Doctrine.
Washington’s actions are reminiscent of those by the evil and ruthless criminal boss Bill Sykes, the main antagonist in Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens, a renowned English author of the 19th century (hopefully, the people in the White House have read his works or are at least familiar with the name). We consider it extremely important for this mode of thinking not to prevail in global affairs.
We support our Bolivarian friends in their legitimate demands to have the stolen property returned to the Venezuelan state, and we stand in solidarity with them in their determination to further defend their independence and sovereignty.

❓: Dear Ambassador, how would you comment on the results of the visit of representatives of the Kyiv regime to the USA at the end of August? Are there any new aspects in how the administration is reacting to the provocations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine against Russia?
💬 A.I.Antonov:
The Ukrainians came here for "handouts". They begged for missiles, ammunition and money. They urged officials to toughen policies towards our country. They found full support here. Washington's cynical goal remains the same - to harm the Russian Federation with their weapons which are placed in Ukrainian hands.
Everything is done in secret. We only learn about the reached American-Ukrainian agreements on the war against us post factum (and not every time). I do not exclude that this time representatives of the Kiev regime received additional promises to support military actions against Russia. I am sure that in the future all this will be formalized in the form of yet another "package" of arms supplies to Ukraine.
However, even this is not enough. Now there is talk about expanding the scale of Ukrainian actions on the territory of the Russian Federation. The local press is discussing Kiev's idea of preparing a certain list of targets in our country, which they propose to strike with long-range missiles, delivered from the US.
At the same time, no one here is embarrassed by the data coming from Kursk and Belgorod regions about ever-new losses among Russian citizens, houses, hospitals, bridges, destroyed by direct fire – including with the help of American weapons. Officials ignore the obvious facts of atrocities by neo-Nazis: murders, abuse of prisoners and ordinary local residents.
How much cynicism and "double standards" do Americans have in promoting democratic values?! What wrong was done by the children and teachers in the kindergarten in Belgorod, which was bombed by Ukrainians on September 1?! The kids were denied the right to celebrate the beginning of the school year. Why are they silent here about the destruction of churches?! There was no reaction to the destruction of the temples of the St. Nicholas Monastery.
Washington's idea of pitting Europe against Russia through the Ukrainian crisis will not pass. The US will not be able to sit it out across the ocean if the current situation escalates into a global conflict. No supplies of modern equipment, be it fighters or long-range missiles, not to mention sending mercenaries to our country, will change the situation on the battlefield.
It looks quite comical when an F-16 in the Ukrainian sky is shot down by a US-made Patriot system. Local instructors have not been able to properly train the Armed Forces of Ukraine. I can imagine how they would howl here if there were data that the ill-fated plane was shot down by our soldiers.
The American "Ukraine project" has brought destruction and entailed huge sacrifices of the Slavic people. There is no doubt that Russia will cope with the new challenge to its security and the goals and objectives of the special military operation will be fully implemented. The fate of equipment and weapons coming to Kiev from the USA is obvious – it will be destroyed.

🗓 79 лет назад – 2 сентября 1945 года – был подписан Акт о капитуляции милитаристской Японии, поставивший точку во Второй мировой войне.
❗️После разгрома Германии в Европе последний оплот стран «оси» оставался в Азиатско-Тихоокеанском регионе. Под японской оккупацией по-прежнему находились Корейский полуостров, Индокитай, Индонезия, Малаккский полуостров, часть территории Китая, Бирмы и Филиппинских островов.
В целях нейтрализации японской угрозы на Дальнем Востоке и во исполнение договорённостей, достигнутых c союзниками по антигитлеровской коалиции – США и Британией – Советский Союз вступил в войну против милитаристской Японии. 9 августа началась Маньчжурская стратегическая наступательная операция советских войск.
🌟 В результате стремительного наступления и слаженных действий сухопутных частей, авиации и флота советские войска разгромили Квантунскую армию. В ходе операции от японской оккупации были освобождены территории Китая и Северной Кореи. За 23 дня боевых действий Красная армия сокрушила японскую милитаристскую машину и ликвидировала плацдарм крупной военно-экономической базы противника в Азии.
📑 Официальная церемония подписания Акта о капитуляции Японии состоялась 2 сентября 1945 года на борту американского линкора «Миссури». Согласно этому документу, было заявлено «о безоговорочной капитуляции союзным державам японского императорского генерального штаба, всех японских вооруженных сил и всех вооруженных сил под японским контролем вне зависимости от того, где они находятся». От СССР Акт был уполномочен подписать генерал-лейтенант К.Н.Деревянко.
Япония полностью приняла условия Потсдамской декларации 1945 года. Согласно Акту, военные действия с её стороны прекращались немедленно, все японские и находившиеся под японским контролем вооруженные силы безоговорочно капитулировали.

▪️ 20 years ago, on September 1, 2004, a group of terrorists seized School No. 1 in Beslan, Russia's North Ossetia, during a ceremony marking the start of the new school year. Children, parents and teachers were taken hostage. They were held without food and water for almost three days.
That bloody terrorist attack claimed 334 lives, including 186 children. The Alfa and Vympel special-purpose units of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation launched a counter-terrorist operation and managed to save 811 lives. Ten Federal Security Service special operations soldiers and two EMERCOM officers were killed in the assault.
🕯 People in Russia and abroad are mourning the innocent victims of the terrorist attack today. It has become an unhealing wound for our entire nation which bleeds to this day.
Encouraged by Western masterminds, the terrorists sought to destabilise Russian society and sow interethnic and inter-faith discord. Against all odds, our society stood firm and survived. The terrorists may have destroyed a school building, but it was substituted by two newly-built schools equipped up to the most modern standards.
⚠️ Today, Russia is once again facing a terrorist threat. The collective West is waging a hybrid war against our country, using, among other things, terrorist and extremist groups.
Russia remains firmly committed to a principled fight against the threats of terrorism and calls on the international community to join forces in combating this scourge with the UN playing its central coordinating role.

▪️Our friends from diplomatic missions of the CIS countries, Russian representatives in the Bretton Woods institutions, our compatriots and journalists attended the event.
▪️Before the film under the songs of wartime the participants have seen the exhibitions about the milestones of the Great Patriotic War, the heroes of the Special military operation as well as the exposition "People of the New Regions". The guests accepted St. George ribbons and books about the history of Russia with great gratitude. Belarusian diplomats also provided materials onthe events of the wartime of 1941-1945.
▪️With deep respect we remember the friendship and brotherhood of the peoples of the USSR, who endured the most severe trials in the fight against the Nazi invaders.

❓: Dear Ambassador, how would you comment on the new anti-Russian sanctions of the United States?
💬 Anatoly Antonov: The administration is in agony. The fruitless Russophobic "salvos" are multiplying. The goal here is to show the officialdom’s anti-Russian essence against the backdrop of the boiling election campaign.
▪️Economic sanctions are hitting citizens and companies. They are harming not only domestic consumers, but also America's partners in "third" countries. Washington's hypocrisy is surprising: they are not talking about Russia, but about companies in developing nations.
▫️The negative aspects of U.S. actions are obvious to everyone. The administration's reckless steps lead to a crisis, but not to something creative. It is obvious that in order to achieve true independence in the economic sphere, it is high time to abandon the hegemony of the dollar in the international monetary and financial system.
▪️I would like to point out that sanctions against Russia have been so multifaceted that we essentially don’t care what else the administration comes up with to “punish the Russian people.” We will do everything to ensure that our citizens feel at ease and don’t look back at American attacks.

▫️Перед просмотром киноленты собравшиеся ознакомились с экспозициями о вехах СВО и жизни в новых регионах. С большим интересом изучили выставку фоторабот именитого слависта У.Брумфилда об архитектурных достижениях нашей страны.
▪️Гости с удовольствием разбирали ленточки с российским триколором, а также сборники стихов и книги об истории России.
⚡️On changes in the schedule of the educational process at Kazan Federal University for the period from September 1 to October 31, 2024
Due to the upcoming BRICS Summit 2024, which will be held in Kazan on October 22-24, we draw the attention of foreign citizens studying at Kazan Federal University to the changes in the schedule of the educational process in the 2024/2025 academic year.
From September 1 to October 17 a distance self-teaching with intermittent consultations from KFU educators is provided in accordance with the study plan. Further, from October 18 to October 31, students will be granted vacations.
Full-time educational process, as well as dormitories accomodation starts on November 1. In this regard, it is recommended to schedule arrival at the place of study no earlier than October 31.
