I remember the actual problem with the wallet was the syncing, there is a big trade off of fast confirmation blocks, each block at 15 seconds, creates a huge amount of headers, lightweight wallet needs all of them to sync, instead of 10 minute blocks that's 40x more data

That is a scammer impersonating someone. Never go to DM. At this time, there is no mobile DigiByte specific wallet. If you had the old mobile wallet, you need to sweep it using digisweep.digiassetx.com.

Well that doesnt sound like the scam wallet at least. The big problem is there was a 1 word error in the key generation code that resulted in it generating the wrong private keys for any mnemonic. As a result the wallet is not recoverable normally. DigiSweep fixes this and will send the funds to a new wallet of your choice. Unfortunetly it is down at the moment but will hopefully be back up next week.

There is no good mobile wallet that had DigiByte in the name. There was 1 scam wallet recently and several wallets with errors before that. If you downloaded the scam wallet nothing we can do. The old wallets with errors DigiSweep can recover once its back online(probably next week)

It was not a standards compliant wallet, thus the need to sweep to get those coins. A full core node is around 40GB if I remember correctly.
