ZK Foundation and COTI

ZK Foundation is a new organization that has become involved in the future direction of COTI. The foundation is led by Robbie Vander and is focused on expanding the use of privacy technology and building practical applications around it.

The new direction places a strong emphasis on privacy, private payments, business adoption and creating more utility for the COTI ecosystem. The goal is to make privacy technology more accessible and useful for both businesses and users.

COTI already has significant experience in privacy technology, including its use of Garbled Circuits and Zero-Knowledge technology through Nightfall. ZK Foundation's involvement could therefore build on technology and infrastructure that COTI has already developed.

The foundation is also connected to the idea of a broader Privacy Consortium, with the aim of bringing more participants and organizations into the ecosystem over time.

At this stage, ZK Foundation is relatively new, so there is still limited publicly available information about its long-term plans, structure and previous activities. Further details about the leadership, strategy and relationship between ZK Foundation and COTI will be important to understand how this new direction develops.

And just a reminder to everyone: communication has never been $COTI’s strongest point. Every major change has always come with a lot of unanswered questions and uncertainty.
I genuinely hope that changes from this point forward.

Change is always scary, but at some point we have to act like adults and deal with facts instead of noise.
A lot of people saying “the project is dead” are also shorting $COTI. That alone should tell you to be careful about taking every loud opinion seriously.
For those who still believe in the technology, the focus now should be simple: ask the right questions and give the new team the opportunity to answer them. Complaining all day changes nothing. Crypto has always been like this uncertainty, volatility, changes in direction and moments where conviction gets tested.
Personally, after 9 years, I find it hard to believe this is simply a rug pull, especially now that COTI finally has a working privacy technology that, at least in theory, solves a problem many companies and users may actually want solved.
That does not mean we should blindly trust anyone. Quite the opposite. We should ask clear questions about the new leadership, token utility, value capture, treasury, business development and what COTI 2.0 really means in practice.
If the team can answer the questions I posted, I would be very grateful.
Either way, good luck to everyone to those who sold, and to those who still believe in the technology and are willing to see what comes next.
Hopefully better days are ahead.
And don’t give too much attention to the noise. Many of the loudest voices talking about $COTI barely hold any $COTI at all.

The community needs answers now.
I’ve seen several admins and team tags in the chat, so I assume the team is aware of the concerns.
This is not about spreading FUD or creating panic. It’s about getting clear answers to reasonable questions:
Who exactly is behind the new ZK Foundation?
What experience and connections does the new team bring?
Are there already partners, merchants or institutions involved?
How will real usage translate into value capture for $COTI?
What changes are coming to token utility and tokenomics?
And what exactly should holders expect from COTI 2.0?
People who have supported this project for years deserve clarity.
The technology is finally here. Now we need to understand the business model, the leadership and how $COTI fits into the next phase.
Team, please communicate.
Clear answers would help much more than silence.
