Nicolas Jackson thanked Unai Emery when he signed his new Chelsea deal. Emery told Villarreal not to buy a striker during his time at the club amid an injury crisis, citing a young Jackson as the solution to their problems.
Bournemouth have admitted that they made a mistake in pulling out of a deal for Jackson before he joined Chelsea due to injury concerns.

“A Bundesliga team away is never easy, it’s always going to be a tough game. I’m very happy with the payers, all of them did fantastic because it was not an easy game.
