𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋: Academy striker Shumaira Mheuka has put pen to paper on his first professional Chelsea contract. ✍️
Mheuka became a full-time scholar in the summer and has now signed professional terms following his 17th birthday on Sunday.
He featured regularly for the Under-18s as a schoolboy during the 2023/24 season, scoring 12 goals in 20 appearances, including the Premier League national final at Stamford Bridge.
This term, he has stepped up to the Under-21s squad and netted his first goal at that level in the 6-0 win over Fulham at the start of October. He is part of the travelling squad for tonight’s UEFA Conference League clash with Panathinaikos.
Mheuka was an important player for England in the summer’s European Under-17 Championship and marked his first call-up for the Under-19s by scoring against France and the Netherlands this month.

This Nico Jackson’s improvement is so beautiful to see.
A player blessed with attributes not many strikers can boast of; the link up play, agility, skills, pace, power but what was really missing last year was clinical finishing.
His big chance conversion rate was very poor and also seemed to lack a bit of confidence, this year however, he plays like he has a lot to prove.
Man bullies top defenders like VVD, Saliba, Konate anytime we face them, his ceiling is very high with right development.

𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋: Young goalkeeper Hudson Sands has signed his first professional contract with Chelsea. ✍️
Sands, who has been with the Blues since Under-8s level, went full-time as a scholar in the summer and has now signed his first pro deal after turning 17.
He made his debut for the Under-18s while still an Under-15s player, keeping a clean sheet in a 3-0 win over Leicester City in April 2023, and was a regular in the Chelsea Under-16s side which won the Premier League National Tournament last season.
The keeper has made two further appearances for the Under-18s since joining Hassan Sulaiman’s squad permanently for 2024/25, in the league against West Ham United and Aston Villa, coming out on the winning side on both occasions.
