many wallets offer sd card export, ledger offers mnemonic verification which also extracts the mnemonic, and of course while derivation and signing aint happening in the secure chip, there is no support for bitcoin crypto in cheap chips.
Читать полностью…the main issue was that people didnt understand how hardware wallets work, so they took ledger claims the way they wanted them to be.
Читать полностью…Your node forwords transactions and stops the spread of invalid transactions.
Its like a distribution service you get a transaction, check it and you send it to arround 6 (I guess) other nodes.
I agree, what data do you need immutability for and justifies the price?
Читать полностью…Hello can you recommend good channels/groups for btc/eth devlopers?
Читать полностью…You could create múltiple OP_RETURN outputs maybe
Читать полностью…Why isn't it a good idea? It depends on the data isn't it? All the transactions is also a data, blockchain is made for storing the data. Like proof of transaction, where transaction might be something different than bitcoin transaction
Читать полностью…Well, now you don't need to know a miner to commit more than 80 bytes. Writing data to the blockchain is not a good idea indeed, commit might be.
Читать полностью…I would prefer to have a same way to store it for different sizes of data, so I could also read it when I need, it can be encrypted data.
Читать полностью…What exactly do you mean? Lightning is off-chain, but I could receive payments over lightning, yes.
Читать полностью…once you input a pin, private key leaves the secure element, it always did, in all wallets
Читать полностью…Hey guys, im new in BTC world, and im trying to find good RPC providers for mainnet BTC. Can someone suggest any?
Читать полностью…Can someone explain how one extra node in the network secures the network (not miner, just a simple fullnode)?
Читать полностью…It's not, but I couldn't figure out why would someone need immutable files.
Читать полностью…At the risk of going off topic, how is ipfs immutable?
Читать полностью…Is the end goal making a something like a distributed cloud storage service?
Читать полностью…I believe that another use case for bitcoin blockchain will only create additional value to bitcoin
Читать полностью…As @sntgvrg says, you have OP_RETURN to introduce some text (80 bytes) or more if you know a miner and your TX is included. But, use Bitcoin blockchain to store data is not a good idea.
Читать полностью…Now it's perfectly possible, and you can even commit more than 80 bytes (OP_RETURN). However it doesn't seem like the right place for it, still the point with bitcoin, no one is going to refuse such a transaction.
Читать полностью…Are you sure? Even the first block generated by Satoshi contained a message
