श्री राधा कृपा कटाक्ष स्तोत्र

मुनीन्द्रवृन्दवन्दिते त्रिलोकशोकहारिणी,
प्रसन्नवक्त्रपंकजे निकुंजभूविलासिनी।
व्रजेन्द्रभानुनन्दिनी व्रजेन्द्र सुनूसंगते,
कदाकरिष्यसीह मां कृपाकटाक्ष भाजनम्।।
भावार्थ ----
मुनीन्द्र वृन्द जिनके चरणों की वन्दना करते हैं तथा जो तीनों लोकों का शोक दूर करने वाली है मुस्कान युक्त प्रफुल्लित मुख कमल वाली, निकुंज भवन में विलास करने वाली, राजा वृष भानु की राजकुमारी, श्री ब्रज राजकुमार की हृदयेश्वरी श्री राधिके! कब मुझे अपने कृपा कटाक्ष का पत्र बनाओगी?
अशोकवृक्षवल्लरी वितानमण्डपस्थिते,
प्रवालज्वालपल्लव प्राभारुणाड् घ्रकोमले।
वराभयस्फुरत्करे - प्रभूतसम्पदालये,
कदाकरिष्यसींह मां कृपाकटाक्ष भाजनम्।।
भावार्थ -----
अशोक की वृक्ष लताओं से बने हुए ‘लता मन्दिर’ में विराजमान और मूंगे अग्नि तथा नवीन लाल पल्लवों के समान अरुण कान्ति युक्त कोमल चरणों वाली, भक्तों को अभीष्ट वरदान देने वाली तथा अभय दान देने के लिये उत्सुक रहने वाले कर-कमलों वाली अपार ऐश्वर्य की आलय स्वामिनी श्री राधे मुझे कब अपने कृपा कटाक्ष का अधिकारी बनाओगी।
अनंगरंगमंगल प्रसंगभंगुरभ्रुवां,
सुविभ्रमं ससम्भ्रमं दृगन्तबाणपातनैः।
निरन्तरं वशीकृत प्रतीतनन्दनन्दने,
कदाकरिष्यसीह मां कृपा कटाक्ष भाजनम्।।
भावार्थ -----
प्रेम क्रीड़ा के रंगमंच पर मंगलमय प्रसंग में बाँकी भृकुटी करके, आश्चर्य उत्पन्न करते हुए सहसा कटाक्ष रूपी वाणों की वर्षा से श्री नन्दनन्दन को निरन्तर बस में करने वाली है सर्वेश्वरी! अपने कृपा कटाक्ष का पात्र मुझे कब बनाओगी?
तड़ित्सुवर्णचम्पक प्रदीप्तगौरविग्रहे,
मुखप्रभापरास्तकोटिशारदेन्देमण्डले।
विचित्रचित्रसंचरच्चकोरशावलोचने,
कदाकरिष्यसीह मां कृपाकटाक्ष भाजनम्।।
भावार्थ ------
बिजली, स्वर्ण तथा चम्पा के पुष्प के समान सुनहरी कान्ति से देदीप्यमान गोरे अंगों वाली अपने मुखारविन्द की चांदनी से करोड़ों शरच्चन्द्रों को जीतने वाली, क्षण-क्षण में विचित्र चित्रों की छटा दिखाने वाली चंचल चकोर के बच्चे के सदृश विलोचनों वाली, हे जगज्जनी! क्या कभी मुझे अपने कृपा कटाक्ष का अधिकारी बनाओगी।
मदोन्मदातियौवने प्रमोद मानमण्डिते
प्रियानुरागरंजिते कलाविलासपण्डिते।
अनन्यधन्यकुंजराज-कामकेलिकोविदे
कदाकरिष्यसीह मां कृपाकटाक्ष भाजनम्।।
भावार्थ -----
अपने अत्यन्त रूप यौवन के मद में मत्त रहने वाली आनन्द भरा मान ही जिनका सर्वोत्तम भूषण है, प्रियतम के अनुराग से रंगी हुई, विलास की प्रवीण अनन्य भक्त-गोपिकाओं से धन्य हुए निकुंजराज्य के प्रेम कौतुक विद्या की विद्वान् श्री राधिके! मुझे अपने कृपा कटाक्ष का पात्र कब बनाओगी?
अशेषहावभाव धीरहीर हार भूषिते,
प्रभूतशातकुम्भकुम्भ कुम्भिकुम्भसुस्तनी।
प्रशस्तमंदहास्यचूर्णपूर्णसौक्ष्यसागरे
कदकरिष्यसीह मां कृपाकटाक्ष भाजनम्।।
भावार्थ -----
सम्पूर्ण हाव-भाव रूपी श्रृंगारों तथा धीरता एवं हीरे के हारों से विभूषित अंगों वाली शुद्ध स्वर्ण के कलशों के समान एवं गयन्दिनी के गण्डस्थल के समान मनोहर पयोधरों वाली प्रशंसित मंद मुस्कान से परिपूर्ण आनन्द सिंधु के सदृश श्री राधा ! क्या मुझे कभी अपनी कृपा दृष्टि से कृतार्थ करोगी?
मृणालबालवल्लरी तरंगरंगदोर्लते,
लताग्रलास्यलोलनील लोचनावलोकने।
ललल्लुलन्मिलन्मनोज्ञ मुग्ध मोहनाश्रये,
कदाकरिष्यसीह मां कृपाकटाक्ष भाजनम्।।
भावार्थ ------
जल की लहरों से हिलते हुए कमल के नवीन नाल के समान जिनकी कोमल भुजाएं हैं पवन से जैसे लता का एक अग्र भाग नाचता है ऐसे चंचल लोचनों से नीलिमा झलकाते हुए जो अवलोकन करती है। ललचाने वाले, लुभाकर पीछे-पीछे फिरने वाले, मिलने में मन को हरने वाले मुग्ध मनमोहन को आश्रय देने वाली, हे वृषभानु किशोरी! कब अपने कृपा अवलोकन द्वारा मुझे मायाजाल से छुड़ाओगी।
सुवर्णमालिकांचितेत्रिरेखकम्बुकण्ठगे,
त्रिसूत्रमंगलीगुण त्रिरत्नदीप्तिदीधिति।
सलोलनीलकुन्तले प्रसूनगुच्छगुम्फिते,
कदाकरिष्यसीह मां कृपाकटाक्ष भाजनम्।।
भावार्थ ------
स्वर्ण की मालाओं से विभूषित तथा तीन रेखाओं वाले शंख की छटा सदृश सुन्दर कण्ठ वाली तथा जिनके कण्ठ में मंगलमय त्रिसूत्र बंधा हुआ है जिसमें तीन रंग के रत्नों का भूषण लटक रहा है रत्नों से देदीप्यमान किरणें निकल रही है (यह मंगल त्रिसूत्र, नव वधू को गले में पहनाया जा रहा है) यह ब्रज की प्राचीन प्रथा है, दक्षिण में अब भी यह प्रथा प्रचलित है तथा दिव्य पुष्पों के गुच्छों से गूंथे हुए काले घुंघराले लहराते केशों वाली, हे सर्वेश्वरी श्री राधे! कब मुझे अपनी कृपा दृष्टि से देखकर अपने चरण कमलों के दर्शन का अधिकारी बनाओगी।
नितम्बबिम्बलम्बमान पुष्पमेखलागुण,
प्रशस्तरत्नकिंकिणी कलापमध्यमंजुले।
करीन्द्रशुण्डदण्डिका वरोहसोभगोरुके,

👉 माँ दुर्गाजी की आठवीं शक्ति का नाम महागौरी है। दुर्गापूजा के आठवें दिन महागौरी की उपासना का विधान है।
👉 03 October 2022, आश्विन शुक्ल अष्टमी, सोमवार।
👉 इनकी शक्ति अमोघ और सद्यः फलदायिनी है। इनकी उपासना से भक्तों के सभी कल्मष पूर्वसंचित पाप भी विनष्ट हो जाते हैं। ।
👉 माँ की पूजा से भविष्य में पाप-संताप, दैन्य-दुःख उसके पास कभी नहीं जाते। वह सभी प्रकार से पवित्र और अक्षय पुण्यों का अधिकारी हो जाता है।
👉 इनका वर्ण पूर्णतः गौर है। इस गौरता की उपमा शंख, चंद्र और कुंद के फूल से दी गई है।
👉 इनकी आयु आठ वर्ष की मानी गई है- 'अष्टवर्षा भवेद् गौरी।'
👉 इनके समस्त वस्त्र एवं आभूषण आदि भी श्वेत हैं।
👉 महागौरी की चार भुजाएँ हैं। इनका वाहन वृषभ है। इनके ऊपर के दाहिने हाथ में अभय मुद्रा और नीचे वाले दाहिने हाथ में त्रिशूल है। ऊपरवाले बाएँ हाथ में डमरू और नीचे के बाएँ हाथ में वर-मुद्रा हैं। इनकी मुद्रा अत्यंत शांत है।
👉 माँ महागौरी का ध्यान, स्मरण, पूजन-आराधना भक्तों के लिए सर्वविध कल्याणकारी है। हमें सदैव इनका ध्यान करना चाहिए। इनकी कृपा से अलौकिक सिद्धियों की प्राप्ति होती है। मन को अनन्य भाव से एकनिष्ठ कर मनुष्य को सदैव इनके ही पादारविन्दों का ध्यान करना चाहिए।

💥 इस दिन देवी को नारियल का भोग लगाया जाता है। नारियल का भोग लगाने से घर में सुख-समृद्धि आती है।
💥महागौरी की पूजा करने के बाद पूरी, हलवा और काला चना एकसाथ 9 कन्याओं को खिलाया जाता है।
👉 आज के दिन गुलाबी रंग का वस्त्र धारण करें।
👉 अष्टमी के दिन महिलाएं अपने सुहाग के लिए देवी मां को चुनरी भेंट करती हैं।
👉 अगर आप अष्टमी को व्रत का पारण करते हैं तो इस दिन पुड़ी, उबले चने आदि खा सकते हैं।
👉 महागौरी को चमेली व केसर का फूल अर्पित करें।

108 Amman Slokam/ 108 Names of Devi
Goddess Amman also known as Mariamman, Mariaai both meaning "Mother Mari", simply Amman, Aatha or Mother is the South Indian Hindu goddess of rain. She is the main South Indian mother goddess, predominant well known to Hindu worldwide. Goddess Amman is closely associated with the Hindu goddesses Shakti, Parvati and Durga as well as with her North Indian counterpart Shitaladevi.
In the Hindu concept, the Mother Goddess is Shakti, the consort of Shiva, the Supreme God. Shakti is the source of feminine energy, which when combines with the masculine energy completes the cyclic requirement of creativity. And she is also the female aspect of the creator. In these various forms, she symbolizes love, compassion, care and also determination and the capability to destroy evil. Rig-Veda, the earliest Aryan text called her Mahi-maata, Mother Earth. But the pre-Vedic and pre-Dravidian Mohanjo-daro culture identified mother earth, as pointed out by scholars from the evidences given by seals of the period.
Amman Stotram/Slokam is the sacred Hindu devotional slokha for the devotees of Goddess Amman, the Divine Mother Goddess Parvathi Devi in the form of her and the male gods' feminine power, Shakti. Amman Stotram/Slokam is organized according to Pancha Kruthyam (5 works). The Pancha Kruthyam are Srishti (Creation), Stithi (Protection), Samharam (Destruction), Thirodhanam (Hiding), and Anugraham (Blessing). Therefore, reciting this mantra gives one happiness, peace and blissful life.
Amman Stotram/Slokam is a very powerful slokha chanting it and meditating it on the meaning of the 108/1008 names of Goddess Amman will ward off all evils and would lead to the fulfillment of all the wishes of the devotees. Chanting these mantra on Fridays is considered auspicious.
There is different version of 108 Amman Slokam like Shri Lalita Sahasranam, 1008 Amman Potri, Durga Slokam, etc. Here, i posted Shri Lalita Sahasranam 108 names of Devi which can be chanted easily by anyone. रोग नाशक देवी मन्त्र :

“ॐ उं उमा-देवीभ्यां नमः”
इस मन्त्र से मस्तक-शूल (headache) तथा मज्जा-तन्तुओं (Nerve Fibres) की समस्त विकृतियाँ दूर होती है – ‘पागल-पन’(Insanity, Frenzy, Psychosis, Derangement, Dementia, Eccentricity)तथा ‘हिस्टीरिया’ (hysteria) पर भी इसका प्रभाव पड़ता है ।
“ॐ यं यम-घण्टाभ्यां नमः”
इस मन्त्र से ‘नासिका’ (Nose) के विकार दूर होते हैं ।
“ॐ शां शांखिनीभ्यां नमः”
इस मन्त्र से आँखों के विकार (Eyes disease) दूर होते हैं । सूर्योदय से पूर्व इस मन्त्र से अभिमन्त्रित रक्त-पुष्प से आँख झाड़ने से ‘फूला’ आदि विकार नष्ट होते हैं ।
“ॐ द्वां द्वार-वासिनीभ्यां नमः”
इस मन्त्र से समस्त ‘कर्ण-विकार’ (Ear disease) दूर होते हैं ।
“ॐ चिं चित्र-घण्टाभ्यां नमः”
इस मन्त्र से ‘कण्ठमाला’ तथा कण्ठ-गत विकार दूर होते हैं ।
“ॐ सं सर्व-मंगलाभ्यां नमः”
इस मन्त्र से जिह्वा-विकार (tongue disorder) दूर होते हैं । तुतलाकर बोलने वालों (Lisper) या हकलाने वालों (stammering) के लिए यह मन्त्र बहुत लाभदायक है ।
“ॐ धं धनुर्धारिभ्यां नमः”
इस मन्त्र से पीठ की रीढ़ (Spinal) के विकार (backache) दूर होते है । This is also useful for Tetanus.
“ॐ मं महा-देवीभ्यां नमः”
इस मन्त्र से माताओं के स्तन विकार अच्छे होते हैं । कागज पर लिखकर बालक के गले में बाँधने से नजर, चिड़चिड़ापन आदि दोष-विकार दूर होते हैं ।
“ॐ शों शोक-विनाशिनीभ्यां नमः”
इस मन्त्र से समस्त मानसिक व्याधियाँ नष्ट होती है । ‘मृत्यु-भय’ दूर होता है । पति-पत्नी का कलह-विग्रह रुकता है । इस मन्त्र को साध्य के नाम के साथ मंगलवार के दिन अनार की कलम से रक्त-चन्दन से भोज-पत्र पर लिखकर, शहद में डुबो कर रखे । मन्त्र के साथ जिसका नाम लिखा होगा, उसका क्रोध शान्त होगा ।
“ॐ लं ललिता-देवीभ्यां नमः”
इस मन्त्र से हृदय-विकार (Heart disease) दूर होते हैं ।
“ॐ शूं शूल-वारिणीभ्यां नमः”
इस मन्त्र से ‘उदरस्थ व्याधियों’ (Abdominal) पर नियन्त्रण होता है । प्रसव-वेदना के समय भी मन्त्र को उपयोग में लिया जा सकता है ।
“ॐ कां काल-रात्रीभ्यां नमः”
इस मन्त्र से आँतों (Intestine) के समस्त विकार दूर होते हैं । विशेषतः ‘अक्सर’, ‘आमांश’ आदि विकार पर यह लाभकारी है ।
“ॐ वं वज्र-हस्ताभ्यां नमः”
इस मन्त्र से समस्त ‘वायु-विकार’ दूर होते हैं । ‘ब्लड-प्रेशर’ के रोगी के रोगी इसका उपयोग करें ।
“ॐ कौं कौमारीभ्यां नमः”
इस मन्त्र से दन्त-विकार (Teeth disease) दूर होते हैं । बच्चों के दाँत निकलने के समय यह मन्त्र लाभकारी है ।
“ॐ गुं गुह्येश्वरी नमः”
इस मन्त्र से गुप्त-विकार दूर होते हैं । शौच-शुद्धि से पूर्व, बवासीर के रोगी १०८ बार इस मन्त्र का जप करें । सभी प्रकार के प्रमेह – विकार भी इस मन्त्र से अच्छे होते हैं ।
“ॐ पां पार्वतीभ्यां नमः”
इस मन्त्र से ‘रक्त-मज्जा-अस्थि-गत विकार’ दूर होते हैं । कुष्ठ-रोगी इस मन्त्र का प्रयोग करें ।
“ॐ मुं मुकुटेश्वरीभ्यां नमः”
इस मन्त्र से पित्त-विकार दूर होते हैं । अम्ल-पित्त के रोगी इस मन्त्र का उपयोग करें ।
“ॐ पं पद्मावतीभ्यां नमः”
इस मन्त्र से कफज व्याधियों पर नियन्त्रण होता है ।
विधिः-
उपर्युक्त मन्त्रों को सर्व-प्रथम नवरात्रि अथवा किसी अन्य पर्व-काल में १००८ बार जप कर सिद्ध कर लेना चाहिये । फिर प्रतिदिन जब तक विकार रहे, १०८ बार जप करें अथवा सुविधानुसार अधिक-से-अधिक जप करें । विकार दूर होने पर ‘कुमारी-पूजन, ब्राह्मण-भोजन आदि करें ।

भावार्थ ------
कटिमण्डल में मणिमय किंकिणी सुशोभित है जिसमें सोने के फूल रत्नों से जड़े हुए लटक रहे हैं तथा उसकी प्रशंसनीय झंकार अत्यन्त मनोहर गजेन्द्र की सूंड के समान जिनकी जंघाये अत्यन्त सुन्दर है। ऐसी श्री राधे महारानी! मुझ पर कृपा करके कब संसार सागर से पार लगाओगी?
अनेकमन्त्रनादमंजु-नूपुरारवस्खलत्,
समाजराजहंसवंश-निक्वणातिगौरवे।
विलोलहेमवल्ल्री विडम्बिचारुचंक्रमे,
कदाकरिष्यसीह मां कृपाकटाक्षभाजनम्।।
भावार्थ -----
अनेको वेद मन्त्रों की सुमधुर झनकार करने वाले स्वर्णमय नूपुर चरणों में ऐसे प्रतीत होते हैं मानो मनोहर हंसों की पंक्ति गूंज रही हो, चलते समय अंगों की छबि ऐसी लगती है मानों स्वर्णलता लहरा रही हो। हे जगदीश्वरी श्री राधे! क्या कभी मैं आपके चरण कमलों का दास हो सकूंगा?
अनन्तकोटिविष्णुलोक-नम्रपद्मजार्चिते,
हिमाद्रिजा पुलोमजा-विरंचिजावरप्रदे।
अपारसिद्धिवृद्धिदिग्ध-सत्पदांगुलीनखे,
कदाकरिष्यसीह मां कृपाकटाक्षभाजनम्।।
भावार्थ ----
अनन्त कोटि वैकुण्ठों की स्वमिनी श्री लक्ष्मी जी आपकी पूजा करती है तथा श्री पार्वती जी इन्द्राणी जी और सरस्वती जी ने भी आपकी पूजा कर वरदान पाया है। आपके चरण कमलों की एक उंगली के नख का भी ध्यान करने मात्र से अपार सिद्धियों का समूह बढ़ने लगता है। हे करुणामयी! आप कब मुझको वात्सल्य-रस भरी दृष्टि से देखोगी?
मखेश्वरी क्रियेश्वरी स्वधेश्वरी सुरेश्वरी,
त्रिवेदभारतीश्वरी प्रमाणशासनेश्वरी।
रमेश्वरी क्षमेश्वरीप्रमोदकाननेश्वरी,
ब्रजेश्वरी ब्रजाधिपे श्रीराधिके नमोस्तुते।।
भावार्थ ------
सब प्रकार के यज्ञों की आप स्वामिनी हैं सम्पूर्ण क्रियाओं की स्वामिनी, स्वधादेवी की स्वामिनी सब देवताओं की स्वामिनी (ऋक, यजु, साम) इन तीनों वेदों की वाणियों की स्वामिनी प्रमाण शासन शास्त्र की स्वामिनी, श्री रमा देवी की स्वामिनी, श्री क्षमा देवी की स्वामिनी और (अयोध्या के) प्रमोद वन की स्वामिनी अर्थात् (श्री सीताजी) आप ही हैं, हे राधिके! कब मुझे कृपाकर अपनी शरण में स्वीकार कर पराभक्ति प्रदान करोगी? हे ब्रजेश्वरी! हे ब्रज की अधिष्ठात्री श्री राधिके! आपको मेरा बारम्बार प्रणाम है।
इतीदमद्भुतस्तवं निशम्य भानुनन्दिनी,
करोतु संततं जनं कृपाकटाक्षभाजनम्।
भवेत्तदैव संचित-त्रिरूपकर्मनाशनं,
लभेत्तदाव्रजेन्द्रसूनु-मण्डलप्रवेशनम्।।
भावार्थ ------
हे वृषभानु नन्दिनी! मेरी इस विचित्र स्तुति को सुनकर सर्वदा के लिये मुझ दास को अपनी दया दृष्टि का अधिकारी बना लो। बस आपकी दया ही से तो मरेे (प्रारब्ध संचित और क्रीयामाण) इन तीनों प्रकार के कर्मों का नाश हो जायगा और उसी क्षण श्री कृष्ण चन्द्र के नित्य मण्डल (दिव्यधाम की लीलाओं में) सदा के लिये प्रवेश हो जायगा।
राकायां च सिताष्टम्यां दशम्यां च विशुद्धया।
एकादश्यां त्रयोदश्यां यः पठेत्साधकः सुधी।।
यं यं कामयते कामं तं तं प्राप्नोति साधकः।
राधाकृपाकटाक्षेण भक्तिः स्यात् प्रेमलक्षणा।।
भावार्थ -----
पूर्णिमा के दिन शुक्ल पक्ष की अष्टमी या दशमी को तथा दोनों की एकादशी और त्रयोदशी को जो शुद्ध बुद्धि वाला भक्त इस-स्तोत्र का पाठ करेगा वह जो भावना करेगा वही प्राप्त होग अन्यथा निष्काम भावना से पाठ करने पर श्री राधाजी की दया दृष्टि से पराभक्ति प्राप्त होगी।
ऊरुमात्रे नाभिमात्रे हृन्मात्रे कंठमात्रके।
राधाकुण्ड-जले स्थित्वो यः पठेत्साधकः शतम्।।
तस्य सर्वार्थसिद्धिः स्यात् वांछितार्थ फलंलभेत्।
ऐश्वर्य च लभेत्साक्षात्दृशा पश्यतिराधिकाम्।।
तेन सा तत्क्षणादेव तुष्टा दत्ते महावरम्।
येन पश्यति नेत्राभ्यां तत्प्रियं श्यामसुन्दरम्।।
नित्य लीला प्रवेशं च ददाति श्रीब्रजाधिपः।
अतः परतरं प्राप्यं वैष्णवानां न विद्यते।।
भावार्थ ----
इस स्तोत्र से श्री राधा-कृष्ण का साक्षात्कार होता है, उसकी विधि इस प्रकार है कि (गोवर्धन पर्वत के निकट) श्री राधा कुण्ड के जल में जंघाओं तक या नाभि पर्यन्त या छाती तक या कण्ठ तक जल में खड़े होकर इस स्तोत्र का 100 बार पाठ करें।
इस प्रकार कुछ दिन पाठ करने पर सम्पूर्ण मनोवांछित पदार्थ प्राप्त हो जाते हैं। ऐश्वर्य की प्राप्ति होती है। दर्शनार्थी भक्तों को इन्हीं से साक्षात् श्री राधा जी का दर्शन होता है। श्री राधा जी प्रकट होकर प्रसन्नतापूर्वक महान् वरदान देती हैं। (अथवा अपने चरणों का महावर (जावक) भक्त के मस्तक पर लगा देती हैं) वरदान में केवल “अपनी प्रिय वस्तु दो” यही मांगना चाहिए।
तब तत्काल ही श्याम सुन्दर प्रकट होकर दर्शन देते हैं। प्रसन्न होकर श्री ब्रजराज कुमार नित्य लीलाओं में प्रवेश प्रदान करते हैं। इससे बढ़कर वैष्णवों के लिए कोई भी वस्तु नहीं है।
किसी-किसी को राधाकुण्ड के जल में 100 पाठ करने पर एक ही दिन में दर्शन हो जाता है। किसी-किसी को दो महीनों में होता है। इसलिए जब तक दर्शन न हों पाठ करते रहो।

In January the Sun is in the sign of Capricorn (Shravana nakshatra) transiting between 17,18, and 19th degree; while in November Sun transits through the 24, 25, and 26th degree in the sign of Libra (Vishaka nakshatra). But it is the wonder of wise architects who built the temple of Mahalakshmi at Kolhapur that the rays of the rising Sun, bow at the feet of the Goddess through a window, for a while before vanishing. KALI AND SHIVA
This fabulous picture of Ma Kali atop Shiva has many meanings at many levels.
The famous story is that Kali was very angry about the injustice and wrong doings on earth. She wanted to finish the world, and began her Tandava.
All creatures went helter skelter, looking for shelter, as the world began to crack up with earthquakes, plagues,and demolitions.No one could stop her, she was unstoppable in her rampage. Shakti can be glorious as Durga, and she can be fear invoking, as Kali, it depends on the Bhava we set for Her. If we trouble Mother Nature too much, she is bound to get into a Kali Mood.
Now, while it was true that evil had exceeded and needed to be stopped, but also true that not all people were evil, not all needed to be taken to task. So then, Shiva, her husband lay down on her path, knowing that this will stop her, that she won't " Over step" Him. But she stepped even on Him. A minute later she realised that this was her dearest beloved, and She calmed down...the wife in her emerged, and she lolled her tongue in a gesture of "Sorry"
The Maha Pralaya ( Great dissolution of our Universe ) was thus averted.
This is the Katha( story) for which we pray to Ma Kali.
But God and Shakti are multidimensional, so there can be many understandings of the symbolism. The esoteric meaning can also be:
The power of Maya (Bhadrakali) is so great , just like a huge ,dark cloud of veil, that it can make even God Himself forget his own self for a while and slip into an unconscious state of Susupti ( deep , dreamless sleep) or Yoga nidra( peaceful repose)
It is only when the force of His own Maya is lifted that He may slowly rise. This is somewhat on the lines of the Kashmir Shaivism teachings ,which state that this forgetfulness and remembrance of His own Nature is the eternal play of God and His own Maya. Because, she, as Shakti, is the equal half of the Supreme! It is said Shiva without Shakti is inert like a shava- a corpse until He doesn't re-cognize that the Shakti is His own; that in the highest reality, they are never separate! So also, Shiva is called Shaktimaan, the wielder of His own Maya.

Shri’ or ‘Lakshmi’, as depicted in the Vedas, is the goddess of wealth and fortune, power and beauty. In her first incarnation, according to the Puranas, she was the daughter of the sage Bhrigu and his wife Khyati. She was later born out of the ocean of milk at the time of its churning.
She, being the consort of Shri Vishnu, is born as his spouse whenever he incarnates. When he appeared as Vamana, Rama and Krishna, she appeared as Padma (or Kamala), Sita and Rukmani. She is as inseparable from Shri Vishnu as speech from meaning or knowledge from intellect, or good deeds from righteous-ness. He represents all that is masculine, and she, all that is feminine.
What is the meaning of Lakshmi?
Goddess Lakshmi means Good Luck to Hindus. The word ‘Lakshmi’ is derived from the Sanskrit word “Laksya”, meaning ‘aim’ or ‘goal’, and she is the goddess of wealth and prosperity, both material and spiritual. She is the goddess of prosperity, wealth, purity, generosity, and the embodiment of beauty, grace and charm.

रामायण में एक घास के तिनके का भी रहस्य है, जो हर किसी को नहीं मालूम ........
क्योंकि आज तक हमने हमारे ग्रंथो को
सिर्फ पढ़ा,,, समझने की कोशिश नहीं की।
रावण ने जब माँ सीता जी का हरण करके लंका ले गया तब लंका मे सीता जी वट वृक्ष के नीचे बैठ कर चिंतन करने लगी। रावण बार बार आकर माँ सीता जी को धमकाता था, लेकिन माँ सीता जी कुछ नहीं बोलती थी। यहाँ तक की रावण ने श्री राम जी के वेश भूषा मे आकर माँ सीता जी को
भ्रमित करने की भी कोशिश की लेकिन फिर भी सफल नहीं हुआ,,,
रावण थक हार कर जब अपने शयन कक्ष मे गया तो मंदोदरी ने उससे कहा आप तो राम का वेश धर कर गये थे,,, फिर क्या हुआ।
रावण बोला जब मैं राम का रूप लेकर सीता के समक्ष गया तो सीता मुझे नजर ही नहीं आ रही थी ।
रावण अपनी समस्त ताकत लगा चुका था लेकिन जिस जगत जननी माँ को आज तक कोई नहीं समझ सका,,, उन्हें रावण भी कैसे समझ पाता !
रावण एक बार फिर आया और बोला मैं तुमसे सीधे सीधे संवाद करता हूँ लेकिन तुम कैसी नारी हो कि मेरे आते ही घास का तिनका उठाकर उसे ही घूर-घूर कर देखने लगती हो,,,
क्या घास का तिनका तुम्हें राम से भी ज्यादा प्यारा है? रावण के
इस प्रश्न को सुनकर माँ सीता जी बिलकुल चुप हो गयी और उनकी
आँखों से आसुओं की धार बह पड़ी।
इसकी सबसे बड़ी वजह थी कि
जब श्री राम जी का विवाह माँ सीता जी के साथ हुआ,तब सीता जी का बड़े आदर सत्कार के साथ गृह प्रवेश भी हुआ। बहुत उत्सव मनाया गया। __प्रथानुसार नव वधू विवाह पश्चात जब ससुराल आती है तो उसके हाथ से कुछ मीठा पकवान बनवाया जाता है, ताकि जीवन भर घर पर मिठास बनी रहे।
इसलिए माँ सीता जी ने उस दिन अपने हाथों से घर पर खीर बनाई और समस्त परिवार, राजा दशरथ एवं तीनों रानियों सहित चारों भाईयों और ऋषि संत भी भोजन पर आमंत्रित थे।
माँ सीता ने सभी को खीर परोसना शुरू किया, और भोजन शुरू होने ही वाला था की ज़ोर से एक हवा का झोका आया। सभी ने अपनी अपनी पत्तलें सम्भाली,सीता जी बड़े गौर स सब देख रही थी।
ठीक उसी समय राजा दशरथ जी की खीर पर एक छोटा सा घास का तिनका गिर गया जिसे माँ सीता जी ने देख लिया। लेकिन अब खीर मे हाथ कैसे डालें ये प्रश्न आ गया। माँ सीता जी ने दूर से ही उस तिनके को घूर कर देखा वो जल कर राख की एक छोटी सी बिंदु बनकर रह गया। सीता जी ने सोचा 'अच्छा हुआ किसी ने नहीं देखा'।
लेकिन राजा दशरथ माँ सीता जी
के इस चमत्कार को देख रहे थे। फिर भी दशरथ जी चुप रहे और अपने कक्ष पहुचकर माँ सीता जी को बुलवाया ।
फिर उन्होंने सीताजी जे कहा कि मैंने आज भोजन के समय आप के चमत्कार को देख लिया था ।
आप साक्षात जगत जननी स्वरूपा हैं, लेकिन एक बात आप मेरी जरूर याद रखना।
आपने जिस नजर से आज उस तिनके को देखा था उस नजर से आप अपने शत्रु को भी कभी मत देखना।
इसीलिए माँ सीता जी के सामने जब भी रावण आता था तो वो उस घास के तिनके को उठाकर राजा दशरथ जी की बात याद कर लेती थी।
तृण धर ओट कहत वैदेही
सुमिरि अवधपति परम् सनेही
यही है उस तिनके का रहस्य!
इसलिये माता सीता जी चाहती तो रावण को उस जगह पर ही राख़ कर
सकती थी, लेकिन राजा दशरथ जी को दिये वचन एवं भगवान श्रीराम को रावण-वध का श्रेय दिलाने हेतु वो शांत रही !!!
ऐसी विशलहृदया थीं हमारी जानकी माता !
