Constellations change man. Now we have Polaris and in a few thousand years Arcturus will be our new pole star (I think that's the one) and similar thing will happen to constellations
Читать полностью…This question comes to mind when I was studying on 'black holes and how they bend space and time." for my blog which published recently When I start to search the answer about it I got The entire solar system orbit the centre of the Milky way galaxy at 828,000 km/h which is 230 km/s that takes around 225-250 million years to complete one orbit
And the stars in orion, ursa major constellations etc. are dozens to hundreds of light years away moving at the speed 828,000 km/h it take thousand to millions of year to change position enough to notice a new pattern of Stars means new constellation
Correct me if I'm wrong
I will share my blog with you guys please give me feedback on my blog It helps me to improve
The stars we see are all part of our Milky Way galaxy. The stars within a galaxy are gravitationally bound and orbit the galactic center, so their relative positions within the galaxy remain relatively stable over long periods.

But because of this we will continue to see the same sky, unless we change are ends
Читать полностью…So that means we have shifted from one end of galaxy to the other end
Читать полностью…But we are rotating around milky way galaxy right
Читать полностью…I have a curious question :-
If earth and the other planets of our solar system is rotating around the sun and the whole solar system is rotating the Milky way galaxy then why we see same Constellations and same stars in the sky at night why can't we se any other new constellation and new star? 🤔🤔🤔
@sachiiphy2742 welcome back, you just lived as Schrödinger's cat
