🇮🇷🚫🇺🇸 Iranian Foreign Minister: Every time a diplomatic solution is on the table, the U.S. opts for a reckless military adventure. Is it a crude pressure tactic? Or the result of a spoiler once again duping POTUS into another quagmire?

🇺🇸🇦🇪🇰🇼🇶🇦🇧🇭 The Trump administration has quietly approved $17 billion in Patriot interceptor missile sales to Kuwait ($9.3B), the UAE ($6.25B), and Bahrain ($1.625B), all without public announcement, the New York Times reports today citing State Department and congressional officials.
▪️The three orders amount to roughly 4,250 missiles total, based on a per-unit cost of approximately $4 million. A separate $4 billion Qatar order — around 1,000 additional interceptors — was also authorized last Friday, bringing total U.S. arms sales authorized that day to approximately $25.7 billion, as opposed to the $8 billion publicly announced. It is not clear when these missiles will be delivered.
▪️The sales come as stockpiles have been severely depleted. Since the war began Feb. 28, the U.S. and Gulf states have together fired nearly 1,900 Patriot interceptors (US:1300, Gulf allies: 600) close to three years of current production.
▪️The Washington Post reported Wednesday the U.S. military had burned through at least 53% of its THAAD interceptors and 43% of its Patriot interceptors since the war began. According to a recent analysis by CSIS, Patriot depletion ranges from roughly 45% to 61% of pre war inventory of 2,330 missiles. THAAD depletion ranges from roughly 53% to over 80%.
▪️American manufacturers currently produce just over 600 Patriot missiles per year. The administration has announced plans to raise that to 2,000 annually, but the increase will take time. Most reporting says the buildup will take roughly seven years.

🇮🇷🇨🇳China and Iran Signal Deepening Alignment as FM Wang Yi Hosts FM Araghchi in Beijing
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met Chinese FM Wang Yi in Beijing on Wednesday, with both sides issuing statements signaling increased strategic alignment and shared pressure on Washington to negotiate.
Araghchi said the meeting was “constructive,” reaffirming that “a political crisis cannot be solved through military means.” He said Iran appreciates China’s four-point proposal for regional peace and “trusts China” to play an active role in ending the conflict and building a post-war regional framework.
Wang Yi said the region is at “a critical stage of whether the conflict could end,” warning that restarting the war “would be even more ill-advised.” China “supports Iran in safeguarding its national sovereignty and security” and is ready to “play a greater role in restoring peace and tranquility in the Middle East.”
On the nuclear file, Wang Yi said China recognizes Iran’s right to peaceful use of nuclear energy while appreciating its commitment not to develop nuclear weapons.
On the Hormuz standoff, Wang Yi said “the international community has a common concern” about restoring safe passage and urged parties to respond to that call quickly.
The meeting comes one week before Trump’s scheduled summit with Xi in Beijing.

🇮🇷⚔️🇺🇸 Spokesman of Khatam al-Anbiya Central HQ:
🔺The aggressive, terrorist, and rogue U.S. army violated the ceasefire by targeting an Iranian oil tanker ship moving from Iranian coastal waters in the Jask area towards the Strait of Hormuz, as well as another ship entering the Strait of Hormuz, opposite the port of Fujairah, UAE. Simultaneously, they carried out aerial assaults on civilian areas in cooperation with some regional countries along the coasts of Bandar Khamir, Sirik, and Qeshm Island.
🔺The Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran immediately retaliated by attacking U.S. military vessels in the eastern Strait of Hormuz and south of Bandar Chabahar, inflicting significant damage on them.
🔺The criminal and aggressive United States and its supporting countries must know that the Islamic Republic of Iran, as in the past, powerfully and without the slightest hesitation, will respond decisively to any aggression and invasion.
