I understand changing contracts (going from FET to ASI) will allow you to change the supply, distribution and other metrics.

I just have one question to begin.

Will $ASI supply be fixed and what will the distribution look like?

Diluting FET from 1B to some 2.7B while barely any revenue (if at all) were generated by the other parties wasn't the best move for us token holders.

Hey, our plan is to start rolling out the $ASI ticker later this year, along with the new ASI-chain native blockchain (based on Mettacycle technology). The launch of a new Layer 1 with a new AI smart contract language definitely feels like the right time...

Of course the ticker in itself doesn't matter; our software all works just the same with $FET as it would with $ASI or $MULTILARITYMANIACS or whatever ... however launching the new $ASI ticker as planned feels consilient with launching a whole new type of blockchain infra ... a new infrastructure for multi-agent AI systems and a new tokenomic framework for entrepreneurial AI projects.. 😉

AI-DSL framework will be realized using MeTTa language instead of Idris as in some early prototypes. This is due to technical reasons, basically limitations in Idris type system that we found it awkward to have to work around (because Idris types are limited and are checked only compile time, we needed to use a mix of type checking and other reasoning to do AI-DSL matching checks btw agents in Idris... in MeTTa types are more flexible and everything can be done in run-time... anyway yeah rather technical stuff...)

They talked about it during the time they transitioned from dsl to metta. Check maybe technical Tuesdays back then.

They went from opencog classic to opencog hyperon and from dsl to metta around the same time.

Their reasoning for developing new frameworks and languages was because they wanted more speed and more scale. I find this reasoning funny because scaling is exactly why they frame big tech as monsters. Big tech bad because they want scale - yet snet is trying to make the same achievements in growth, but casting shade onto big tech because they are actually achieving it.

I want Snet (and ASI Alliance) to win - fully. But, I think we need better messaging.

I think the messaging needs to evolve from nonchalant-whatever-whenever to one of precision.

I mean, they (ASI Alliance) go on Twitter and blast corporations/big tech/market dominators etc, yet they are obviously working hand to glove with Google etc. It is such contradictory messaging in my opinion - and that will set the company back as much as anything.

So, either stop working with any company that has a yearly revenue of over 5 billion dollars, or stop trashing big tech. Have a clear message. Make it make sense.

Because once the people want to put a label on you, it is very hard to shake - just ask Steve ballmer

(to be clear, while I'm super psyched on the Mettacycle tech and I feel it's the future, the token will continue to exist on a variety of chains, and we will be introducing new mechanisms for cross-chain liquidity as well. But the new native $ASI chain will have some real technical and tokenomic advantages for DeFi as well as for actual AGI/ASI and non-crypto-focused AI applications...)

Let's just say ... one aspect of what we have to communicate in coming weeks is: What Ethereum tried to do with ERC-20 and BitTensor tried to do with DynamicTAO, we have figured out how to do *right* via leveraging advanced AI, reputation systems and well thought out tokenomics....

We have lots of progress in the R&D lab toward AGI, and a few cool products in testing phase as well... but what @DTaylor and I have been most intensely discussing is more focused on finally getting blockchain infrastructure right, both technically and economically/tokenomically...

But I'm not going to replicate the blog posts here in advance... just reiterating that as David said we have a lot of cool stuff to talk about and are just putting a few last-minute details in place 😉

A whole new phase of ASI infrastructure and development begins this fall, it's going to be beyond epic...
