Yes, as a marketing person, I can somewhat relate. I've helped build out buyer personas for early-stage tech startups as a foundation for then building the core marketing flywheel/GTM centred around those buyer personas.

So, demarcating the broader audience into 3 strict buyer personas is definitely a step in the right direction!

It’s all to do with what in a more corporate / commercial environment would be called “buyer journeys” and influencer circles.

ASI unequivocally has to have what each of those audiences expect in place to be credible.

The short version is:

Builders - Technical and Non-technical

Investors - Institutional and Professional

Researchers - Academics and Analysts.

Of course one rule is price talk, which understandably has to be reiterated from time to time because it is such an interlinked aspect of the ecosystem.
